The room itself was basic roadside motel style however it was damp with a strong musty smell. We assumed that this may be because the room might not been previously occupied however this did not resolve during the three days we stayed there and we had the air conditioner on the entire time. I was expecting more from a 4.5 star property and the price...

"The staff were so kind, and the room was surprisingly clean and pleasant. The temperature was perfect, air conditioning and view were a nice addition. The coffee and gift shop around the corner was really great. We travelled to Shining Waters, Sandspit, downtown Charlottetown and Victoria Park for concerts, so the location was a perfect for it. "Property is not like the picture. It's smelly and old, un-maintained. Front desk lady hardly speaks English. We had bugs in our room. Breakfast was runny scrambled eggs, under-cooked mystery meat and potatoes. Stayed 2 nights - really wanted to cancel second night but would have lost our money. Just a regrettable experience. The property needs so much work...some cleaning wouldn't hurt. Carpets were stained and smelly...really bothered my breathing. All I can say is find somewhere else to stay....
