Hotel was average. But the price was right during a very pricey weekend. The shower worked well. The sheets were visibly clean and you could smell the bleach on them. The air gets super cold which is a plus.

The staff is all friendly. However, this hotel is in desperate need of renovation. The floors were so dirty, they were slippery, the door to the bathroom wouldn't close, and the pillows and mattress have seen better days. We have stayed here off and on since our daughter was in college in Oxford, and this hotel has slowly declined. The location is great, but unfortunately, this was our last stay there.

I like this property because it was just 5 minutes to Ole Miss Campus. It was also quiet, clean, reasonable amount and a very friendly staff. They greet you with a smile.

The bedroom was fine, the floors and bathroom floors need to be cleaned they were dirty. But the bed was comfortable and it was quiet considering the hotel was fully booked. The breakfast was just muffins and cereal and some drinks so we went to th restaurant across the street. The pool area was closed, I'm guessing it's seasonal. There is plenty to eat close by and the university was really close, so very convenient if that's what you are there for.

We enjoyed a one-night stay at this motel. Our room was clean and beds were comfortable. Pillows were a little limp but there were several available to double. Bathroom was spacious and bath linens were clean. Complimentary continental breakfast offered several quick options.

Solid Stay at an Older Hotel, but Breakfast Falls

I had a good stay at this older hotel. The staff were friendly, and the room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, despite some signs of age. The bed was comfy, making for a pleasant experience overall. My only complaint was the continental breakfast, which was disappointing. It was advertised as a full spread, but all they had were bread, muffins, terrible coffee that tasted burnt, and a broken juice machine that didn’t work during my stay. Despite the breakfast letdown, the hotel was a solid choice for a comfortable stay. I’d rate it 3.5 out of 5 - decent, but the breakfast needs serious improvement.

Check-in was easy. Our room did not have a remote. I had to go get some then had to go get the right batteries. Things were broken in the room. Missing lampshades. Bedside lamps that were not plugged in. The bathroom fan had dust bunnies all around it. The Tile either needs to be cleaned or re-grouted. Some of the baseboard tile in the room and fallen off. Most every machine in the breakfast room was broken. And it also doubled as an employee lounge. I guess the experience was more Super 8 than Wyndham.

The front desk was friendly and always willing to help. I didn’t expect to find cigarette burns and stains in the sheets though. There was mold in the closet and I found hair throughout the bathroom area.

The location is good, on Jackson Avenue. However, the service and overall quality is not worth any amount of money. The 'Seasonal' pool was filled with debris and was green on the first week of Sept, which in MS is still 80+ degrees outside. The 'breakfast' was non-existent. I didn't see anything put out any morning over 4 days of stay. Housekeeping would never replace the towels, we had to go to the front dest multiple times and ask for replacement towels. The pictures do not reflect the current state. Would recommend avoiding and staying at another option.
