"Room was average. Clean. Shower was a good size. Could have done with a few hooks both in bathroom and room. However bed was so high, had to climb to get on to it. And pillows very thick. Just about managed two nights. Could not have handled a third night sleeping on them. Breakfast was ok, not great but filled a whole. Front of desk staff very knowledgeable and gave us good direction for places to eat out of the centre of Oxford. The maps they had for park and ride etc were handy. Average stay."

"We stayed here for 5 nights in April. We had a warm welcome from the front desk staff and the public areas were clean and attractive. Our room on the ground floor was clean and comfortable. We only ate one night in the restaurant, the food was delicious and reasonably priced. Breakfast each day was exceptional with a very good variety of food offered on the buffet. "It’s a ok hotel f you don’t demand too much. It’s clean, and the staff are friendly too. Now let’s talk about the undesirable things in our room. 1: no refrigerator. 2: no safe box in room. 3: don’t provide enough towels ( had to ask for more what we needed) 4: no house phone in room that you need to go to front desk for anything.5: the temperature control in room is not functioning properly. I had to turn it on in the middle of night because the room was too hot. Isn’t it money talk in this...

"Good hotel, definitely need a car. Rooms are nice, ours was a little warm, unsure if air-conditioning was available. We were very fortunate and had a free upgrade - big room, clean, good bathroom also clean. Bar and restaurant are both nice - food at both is very good - although drinks prices are a tad high. Restaurant is a bit under staffed at breakfast, if busy getting a clear table can be a challenge. But all staff are really friendly and helpful. We also used the spa - the lounge is lovely...
