It’s a good get away if you want to get away from the city and connect more with nature, a lot of different bird species to admire. The staff is really well organized help us with any questions. The cabin was really well organized and clean.

We had the sweetest stay at Postcard Cabins near Starved Rock. The setting was peaceful and the views were beautiful — exactly the quiet reset we needed. We loved relaxing by the campfire and really appreciated all the thoughtful amenities: coffee, hot cocoa, oatmeal, water, and plenty of firewood. The bed was super comfortable and the whole cabin felt cozy and well cared for. It was a perfect getaway with my husband and we’re already planning to come back.

Room was clean and orderly, checking in is easy and finding the cabin is pretty easy as long as you have the map saved. The space is beautiful and relaxing. Only real issues we had were a *lot* of ladybugs (kind of expected, but still worth mentioning) and the room does not have any form of cooking spray supplied. The other issue was the entire property lost power at the *exact* moment my girlfriend and I were about to start cooking dinner, and remained out for about the next hour. It wasn't that big of a deal, but I was unfortunately never able to get any form of communication or compensation from Postcard for this event after the fact.

We had a great time, but unfortunately, the water didn’t work. The staff was incredibly kind and sent us a gallon of water, but we couldn’t take a shower or wash any dishes. The bathroom toilet was also not working properly because of the water but overall it was very quite and peaceful..
