"The room service was terrible. Checked in and realised none of the shampoo, shower gel or hand wash was topped up. There was a bowl of half eaten strawberries in fridge from previous guest. Next day asked for room to be cleaned and they didn’t do it. Reception staff was friendly and helpful and the management gave us compensation for the inconvenience. The self service laundry was great and reasonably priced. Charging 100 nok a night for a baby cot is a rip off. Good breakfast Buffett. Apart from room service nothing to complain."

"Liked the location.... That was the best part of the stay.... Pretty much downhill after that Have to mention that there was a nation wide strike that definitely had an impact on the service we received. Check in was not well coordinated despite the fact that the people were "marginally" pleasant(Antonio)....but emphasis on the marginally....Could be because the strike caused the staff to be probably overwhelmed and overworked.... Had a good dinner at the hotel restaurant and the gentleman that was behaving as waiter, bartender, seating host and maitre...was very good!! The most disappointing part of our stay was the condition of the room....It was not good at alland certainly not what was depicted on line... The carpet was filthy!!! the room was dated and needed a significant make over... Expected more for the money we paid.... The best thing about this place was the location and ...when fully staffed I think the restaurant is very good....DJP"

"Beautifully maintained property with warm, kind and helpful staff. Our room was very nice, bed was super comfortable, and the cleaning staff were very attentive to ensure the room was clean and we had what we needed. The breakfast was amazing and even though there were alot of guests at breakfast, everything flowed with a high level of efficiency. We had to leave before breakfast on the last morning and the gentleman at the front desk ensured we had breakfast sandwiches to take with us. Everything I mentioned says a lot about the hotel, staff, and service on its own but we were also there during days when the hotel was fully booked. So, that’s an even higher level of excellence to me."

"It was a good stay overall. The room was nice and it was quiet. No functioning air and the windows barely opened so it was hot at night and that wasn’t ideal. The bathroom is tiny as were the shower towels. The breakfast is great! So some positives and negatives. It’s also in a great location!"
