We loved our stay, loved having a dock and nice view of the lake. Very kind and pleasant staff. It was very relaxing. A very nice place that is relaxing, inviting and welcoming. I would stay here again and enjoy being there for a few day stay. Nice getaway

A little dated and worn
Our room was dated but we enjoyed the view of the lake sitting on the balcony very much. Breakfast was very basic - no fruit or anything hot.

The pillows were as hard as a rock. I generally bring my own but forgot this time. They need to invest in new ones. The rest of the hotel was good.

I arrived very late and very tired. The staff were patient and kind and helped me with everything I needed. I lucked out and got a room right next to the laundry facilities because I needed to use them. Couple of rowdy young men outside yelling til about midnight and my door squeaked so atrociously I felt bad every time I had to open it. Morning view outside was stunning and peaceful. Easy checkout. Nice breakfast selections. Great place

Resort has seen better days.staff was lovely and homemade sweet rolls at breakfast every day - yum! But overall, Property was run down and advertised restaurant and bar and hot tub were not open. Beds only fair.

During our stay we found the desk employees to be very warm, helpful, and courteous--especially Rick who made sure we didn't go hungry at night (he makes the best malts)! The hot tub was not open, but the pool and the sauna were and we had a great time. The resort was very welcoming and a cozy feel. We had a room on the second floor facing the lake and enjoyed sitting out on the deck off our room and looking out over the lake. I would highly recommend this resort if you are in the area. It is close to the bear sanctuary, the bog walk, and a state part. The grocery store in town has everything you would need and there are a couple of resturants close by with good food. Our experience was very positive!

We loved the view of Pelican Lake from our balcony, it was beautiful. The wildlife sanctuary, where they feed the bears, was very close to the hotel. The pool was nice, especially since most hotel pools are not open when we stay.
