It was very quirky. Quite unique. Beach location was good, swimming pool area excellent There were lots of seasonal workers staying there

Spent a few nights away with the family. First time there and would stay again. Clean, friendly atmosphere. Stones throw from the beach. Property well maibtained.

Great facility’s and location. Our backpacker room was well set up but could have done with a better standard of cleaning as the floor was a bit mucky and there was a lot of dust however the beds where good and the set up of the beds, power points ect where great! Great value!

Friendly receptionist, thrilled to be upgraded to a better grade of cabin which was modern, spacious and well-equipped. Didn't have time to use the recreational facilities but location and options looked great

We stayed in the family deluxe cabin and loved the layout! The outdoor kitchen was fantastic! The kids loved the Playground and pool and it’s fabulous being on the beach. A fab holiday spot!

Great family or youth camp. Perfect setting on the beach. Comfortable cabins with AC. No internal toilets or showers in cabins their only flaw.

Hi Tony, We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us. It is the perfect beachfront setting. We have different levels of accommodation. Our Deluxe Family and Beach Studio units have internal bathrooms, our deluxe have bathrooms outside on the deck (the unit you were upgraded to) and our standard cabins use our main facility block, which is opposite the rooms. The Jungle Village uses the rear communal bathroom blocks. This way we cater to all different levels of costs and requirements. Please feel free to give our front office staff a call to clarify your requirements as we have multiple options available.

Great accomodation in Opotiki by the beach
We travelled from Auckland to ride the Motu trails loop, Jess really looked after us arranging 2 great cabins and sorting out an easy check-in process for us so we could arrive late after a long drive. Cabins were warm, clean and very comfortable. The bathroom facilities were very clean. We will be coming back for a longer stay next time! Cheers

Loved it!!
From the time we checked in to the time we left we really enjoyed our stay. Our cabins were fantastic. Our cooking facilities were perfect for us too. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Our kids had heaps to keep themselves entertained. The atmosphere was friendly and fun. Would highly recommend and will be going back again soon.

What a great place so close to the beach - rooms are clean and have everything you'll want love the bar-b-que area and so quite. Highly recommend to either a couple for a weekend get away or a good family holiday spot. Either way if your looking for a nice spot to get away from everything for a while this is the place to go.

I LOVED staying here - even on a wet and stormy weekend! I was fortunate enough to have my booking upgraded by the generous staff, and so I stayed in a tourist flat which was fully self contained, clean and comfy. A peaceful, well laid out, and affordable holiday park, I would definitely stay again - next time hopefully it's sunny so I can utilise the free swimming pool and kayaks! Highly recommend this camping ground to all!
