When we checked in, we were asked if we had a pet which we said no. We went to the room and there was a strong odor, and we noticed pet urine stains on the carpet. We went back to get the room changed and was told that it was a pet room and could not be changed because it was booked thru Expedia. I said we will take a downgrade from the suite to a standard room. Again, she said it cannot be done because of the third-party booking. She suggested cancelling my room and pay the penalty. Then booking a room with her and she would put us in a non-pet room. I then checked on Expedia and there were suites available at the same price. She then said I'll change your room to another pet room and if there is a problem with that room, she will not change it again. I have never been treated so badly by any hotel and will never stay in one again.
