Room and city view were great! Enjoyed Rock & Ride (bike week) close to all the action beach, boardwalk, and special events! Parking was tight and they only allow one vehicle so with 2 motorcycles and a pickup we did have to park on the road
Stayed 1 late night. Room was clean. Staff was friendly. Grab n go breakfast was frozen jimmy dean sandwiches, cereal, yogurt, juice, milk, coffee, tea. A couple small round tables to sit down if you prefer. Perfect for us.

Room was clean and comfortable. The door to the bedroom was hard to lock and unlock from the outside. The pool was very bad. It smelled strongly of chlorine and was dirty. Breakfast was grab and go, and it was okay, without lots of options. The localization was amazing, super close to the beach and the boardwalk. It was quiet enough to sleep at night and the staff were very friendly and polite. It’s inexpensive, and you get what you pay for. If you don’t care about a fancy stay, it’s pretty decent.
Refrigerator in the room was good. No coffee pot or any cups whatsoever in the room and no ice machine. They did give you one 5 lb bag of ice per day if you went to the front desk and ask for it. So called breakfast was very minimal some cereal juice and muffins. Free parking was a plus and location to the beach overall it was okay.
Staff was great, even helped bring our luggage up the steps, do not realize had no elevators, the steps weren't too bad. Room was clean, ac/heat works great, the mini fridge kept my drinks icy! Location was great for walking to and from the boardwalk! Only improvement would be the pool, tried it and the sunscreen residue was very apparent in the water. And the size of the pool
Room was cheap, clean, and well maintained. There was a lot of noise from people out in the street the first night. I only slept 2 hours that night. Not really the hotel's fault, but some sound proofing wouldnt hurt. I didnt try the breakfast.
We found the room, staff, and location to be excellent. Just a 5 minute walk from anything you could want: beach, boardwalk, shops, etc. The room was a bit small and felt smaller because we were 2 people with 2 beds in the room, and the only place to fit the fridge was between the 2 beds, which was kind of funny. The overall vibe is definitely on point, though. The staff was very knowledgable and friendly. There was a spigot on the side of the building where we could wash the sand off. That was super helpful.
We never used the pool because there's so much else to do nearby. The breakfast is basically a bunch of takeaway snacks. So the fact we were charged $18 per day for a "resort fee" when we had the same amenities at our previous hotel without being charged extra felt a bit scammy. It's not a resort. It's a motel. And these are things that are usually just offered if available. I would have probably still booked it if they just charged a bit more. Charging extra upon arrival knowing people can't do anything about it. Eh, not the greatest business practice in my opinion.
You don't need to pay extra for the beach view. There are buildings in the way of most of it. It is SUPER close to the beach though, which is worth paying for.
Those negatives aside, we would definitely recommend staying there, especially if you're on a budget. The surrounding city is not cheap, but at least you can know the place you stay is affordable.
The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was decent. It is a little small, but that's factored into the price, which was the best available at the time. There weren't many others competing in that price range, either. Also, there's a balcony, so there's something to be said for that. Parking is convenient enough. My room was already cold with A.C. when I got there, which was really nice. The bathroom looked recently remodeled, and the tub/shower was practically new. The bed was comfortable enough, and the basic amenities are covered. Walking distance to the boardwalk is great- the location is the reason you're paying considerably more than the room is worth (which is still a good value, but only by local standards, and only if you're willing to forgo the luxuries that the local hotels afford you). The breakfast is very simple, but still a very nice and helpful gesture. If I had any inconvenience, I would have preferred to have a key that worked on the deadbolt lock, to secure the room better while away. All told, it's obvious they care about the place, and they do their best to accommodate in the face of local economics; the entire city is a tourist trap, but still pretty great. Just be prepared to spend a lot and/or downgrade your expectations.

No thrill basic room - close to where we were dining so we didn't have to drive. Comfy bed & heat was working, plenty of free parking.
