"Warm welcome, very nice continental breakfast, convenient, sadly enough we couldn’t enjoy the fine dining experience as the restaurant was closed. Regardless they recommended a selection of nearby restaurants. No remarks at all. The complimentary minibar was a cherry on top!"

"The property has a spa which you have access to all the time.the staff a super amazing and also welcoming, even when you check out you can still use the spa on the sale day. Thet upgrades me to a suite and I was so relaxed at the end of my stay I've booked another stay next year with my mum. It is located by the Limit river so you fall asleep to the flow of the water. "

"A wonderful hotel in a quiet, picturesque town. Excellently located for walks in the hills, just a couple minutes walk to the tram station and plenty of shops/cafés nearby. The room was clean and spacious with coffee machine and fridge. Staff were lovely and very helpful with organising guest pass and explaining how to access the hotel after hours. I would definitely stay here again should I return to Basel."

However, I was searching on Expedia for a hotel in Basel, Switzerland, so listing a property in a different country (France), no matter how close to Basel, should have been clearly indicated. I chose this hotel because it seemed like good value for money and only realized it was in France when preparing my maps for the trip weeks later. As a result, I had to pay additional fees for the car rental permit to cross the border, so the value was not as good as it first...
