"This is a true 5 star hotel in the old fashioned sense. In every touch with customers the Grande Bretagne hotel and staff strives to be perfect and welcoming. I particularly enjoyed the indoor swimming pool which is just adequately sized to swim laps. 14 metres. The views from 8th floor restaurant and bar is second to non. View over Syntagma Square, first row seats to chance of guards by Parliament, Lycabettos hill, and most spectacular view to Acropolis and the Parthenon, and beyond, the sea...

"No parking, you must walk with your luggage to the hotel a few blocks or so. We enjoyed our stay; the little balcony was great to sit at night. It was a little loud, there was a bar right underneath to the right and at night they would make noise, and you could hear loudly. But it was a good space and close to everything, that's the great part! There is a lady that comes by to collect the deposit and she was kind. "

"The apartment is large, beautiful, and clean. It has almost everything you need for a stay of more than just one night. (A folding dryer was a bit missing). The only downside to this apartment, however, was that loud music could be heard from somewhere until 2 or 3 a.m. every night."
