Probably my favorite hotel out of a 24 day tour of Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Iceland. Walk out your door and your on the fjord! Views were outstanding, restaurant had tasty authentic Norwegian food. Loved this hotel!!!

Ok, their room sizes are weird. Superior room with queen bed turned out to be half the size of a superior room with double bed. Their listing says otherwise. Go for the bigger room for additional $5 Good views from the rooms

Easy to find and parking was included. Breakfast buffet was very good. They allowed us to use their laundry facilities during the evening, though there were limited machines. Room was nice and big, had patio that had a awesome view.

Lovely

The room was clean and had a wonderful view. Easy check-in. It was in a lovely area where one can walk around. The hotel restaurant also had a beautiful view and breakfast buffet was good.

Situated right in front of Norddalsfjorden surrounded by mountains. Very lovely & tranquil town. The hotel & rooms are so well designed with a lovely terrace in front of the hotel rooms. Very clean. Price inclusive of veryyy good breakfast!! Free coffee and tea at the hotel lobby. Staffs were also really welcoming, lovely. I would like to stay in this hotel again! Stayed for 4 nights and was very sad to leave this beautiful place.

Hotel location is so convenient and peaceful. Beautiful scenery/view from each hotel room. Limited dinner options for vegetarian and vegan people and the serving staff wasn't flexible enough to accommodate the special dietary restrictions. Overall enjoyed our stay however had a few challenges from food standpoint.

This is a great hotel at decent price. We stayed for 3 nights/4 days at this hotel and throughout the service was excellent. Highly recommend having dinner at this hotel - most ingredients are sourced from the fjord in front of this hotel (eg trout) and from farms around Valldal (lamb, berries, fruits, etc). Staff is extremely helpful and pleasant - looks like they really enjoy the fjord-front calm ambience of this hotel. The waterfront has great views. Breakfast was included in our stay and it was great- from fresh squeezed berry juices to fresh breads, meats, and much more. Overall this is a great place to stay with ferries to Geiranger (2miles) or to Olden-Stryn-Loen triangle from Stranda. Highly recommended.

Simply amazing location, so quiet and peaceful hotel location. Essentially every room has a beautiful view. Limited dinner options for vegetarian and vegan, the kitchen staff not flexible enough to accommodate special dietary restrictions. We had to pay extra money for an additional bed even though all family members were happy to share the two beds, that surprise cost us fortune.

What a fantastic property. We were making our way south to Bergen and decided to stop here for two nights and explore the area. Would have loved to stay longer! Hotel is updated with modern, clean rooms. The property is so peaceful and well thought out with its exterior gathering areas. Each room having its own patio with privacy walls is a nice touch. We spent both nights sitting outside, enjoying wine and taking in the fjord. It’s right there. You are steps from the waters edge. As others have mentioned, the breakfast is incredible - definitely some of the best food we’ve had on our 9 day trip across Norway. All staff that we encountered were pleasant and helpful. Will recommend this place to anyone I know visiting the region, and look forward to a future trip where I can come and stay longer.

This is situated on a field and is absolutely spectacular surrounded by mountains. The property is appointed beautifully with large flower pots all over and the views are just amazing. The food in the restaurant was great, wonderful breakfast and great modern well appointed rooms. Would definitely recommend this as an A+ facility!
