Amazing small hotel 2 minutes away from the train station (Nice Ville) and close to Jean Médecin avenue (with a tram line). A small fridge and A/C; I only wish there was a kettle to make a tea/coffee.

Dissapointed with the cleaning, we found hair on the badsheets. The room is very narrow as well. Location is ok.

Very courteous staff with rapid-fast checkin. As close to the train station as you can get. However, it was not super cheap but certainly looked it. A tired crappy hotel, uncomfortable bed/pillows and even crappies wifi.

Avoid the rooms in the ground floor
We got a room in the ground floor, which was dark and poorly ventilated. In fact, we had to rely on the air conditioning for ventilation, since there was no window or extraction. There were cleanliness details that can be improved in the bathroom. Th furniture feels old and weary, except for the bathroom fixtures which are all new. It feels like the hotel is a converted hospital. The reception staff were nice and friendly. My advice would be to avoid the ground floor rooms.

I had an amazing stay at hotel du midi. Although it was not overly close to the beach, it had lovely facilities at a good price. There was a tram stop less than five minutes away which you could hop on to get to the beach within minutes and plenty of shopping options around.

Although the room was not quite up to the decorative standard of that in the website photograph, it was still good and clean. The bed was a bit softer than we prefer but was acceptable. The location is great if travelling by rail, as were we, and within walking distance of the Promenade des Anglais, the Old Town and the Port. For the price, great value for money and we would happily book again.

The hotel is clean and I like that there is a mini fridge in the room but some of the staff act like they own the hotel. Nosey, nosey, nosey! Also, I have never been to a hotel that has breakfast where you have to literally make your own hard boiled eggs. Luckily I make them at home so I knew what I was doing. But the staff not preparing them beforehand is a hazard and doesn’t make any sense. Also, the entire breakfast is mediocre, not a huge selection. Over priced for what you’re actually getting. I think the pastries are not fresh. I’ve stayed in wayyyyyy better hotels where the staff is not NOSEY and where the breakfast is FREE with a HUGE variety or if it does cost, then it’s worth it. The breakfast at this hotel is not worth it. And for the NOSEY staff members, you don’t own the hotel. Mind your business and get a life. Cheers!

Nice stay
The hotel was basic but very good value for money. The service from the staff was very good. They were friendly and very helpful. The location is perfect, very central and close to the sea. Nice is a beautiful city and we enjoyed the stay a lot.

Great little hotel!
Friendly and welcoming reception staff. Clean, warm and welcoming reception area with lots of information on hand. Room was clean warm and comfortable on 3rd floor accessed by lift and or stairs. Economically lit by movement. Small but adequate bathroom which was well lit with good shower. Good location near to train and trams, shops and restaurants. Pin noise in rooms. Would absolutely recommend to singles and couples looking for a base in Nice. Excellent value for money.

Ok for a stop over, get a nice room!
We stayed for a night on the way to Italy. I booked on the basis of the pictures and price. Unfortunately we got the ground floor accessible room, no window assuming as we were late. The other rooms may be nicer, ours was a bit basic, with marks on the door. And need of refurbishment. Clean and comfortable and the staff were GREAT. bang in the middle of Chinatown, a Iittle rough but easy to get to train. A bit disappointing, but ok.

The staff were wonderful and welcoming. Our room was small, the AC was very loud, and there were some big paint chips out of the closet door, but it wasnt too bad. The soap shower gel dispenser didnt work but they provided small packs for use. Overall a fine stay with cafes, shops, and things we wanted to see nearby. We appreciated that staff let us keep our suitcase there for a few hours after check out until our flight :)
