"We stayed for one night at The Conifers guest house in a deluxe double room. We were welcomed at check in, which was very quick and efficient. The room was comfortable, quiet and airy (on a hot day), with tea and coffee available and a reasonable sized shower room. We had a good nights sleep in a large and comfortable bed. "Staff were very helpful assisting with luggage to and from our room. However, we were disappointed with the room as we booked and paid for an economy double bedroom with an ensuite and kitchenette. What we got was a small “L” room with a double bedroom, wardrobe, desk, a bar fridge, a small hand basin and very little room to manoeuvre between the end of the bed and window.
