Room was very clean. Staff very nice and helpful woth informations about how to get to Manhattan the easiest and fastest way. Train station 15 minutes walking easy to find. Supermarket 4 minutes walking. All in all great hotel for a good price.

Everything was pretty good and the beds and bathrooms were clean. The only thing was the floors were dirty and sticky. Service was really good too. For the price, it was a great stay.

Really good valeur for being this close to NYC. Bathrooms were dirty, but the end wasn’t and was surprisingly comfortable! Plus the staff member at the lobby was friendly and helpfull!

The staff was kind. Rating of room was incorrect. It was rated high. Table was old and chipped, wobbly, shower was painted on, I had to endure hearing a man talking all night through the walls next door, trucking neighborhood, neighborhood has trash everywhere, bed look like it was on milk crates. Tub drain was clogged, shower curtain edges was dirty, the floor of the room was filthy, I had to stand on towels the whole visit. Sheets probably is not switched out from bed. But this location had a high rating. Only if you just came home from prison would this seem like heaven. Unfortunately, I was totally misled because the pictures are from standing in front of the service counter snd pictures of room was horrible…

Pros I like the price , I had a good night sleep, the bathroom was a nice size , the service was on point. Cons They didnt have a microwave or frig nor a ice machine which i think they should have overall if you just need a spot thats in the buget for a night this is it.

For the price is a good option

We were there for a weekend. The place is about a 15 minute walk from the train in Elizabeth. It looks like they are remodeling it but there was no cleaning on any day. The place needs a refrigerator and microwave. the bed was comfortable.

DO NOT BOOK A STAY HERE. The location is great because it's so connected to many local transit options, and the other reviews made it seem like it would be a dated but otherwise acceptable option. Unfortunately the hotel is in serious neglect. We found large amounts of hair between bedsheets, trash swept under the bed, sticky clumps of unknown residue near the bedframe, a mix of wood shavings and translucent shell-like objects up above the headboard, and a dead German cockroach of significant size under the headboard. The hotel refused to refund us because we'd already been checked in for 1.5 hours. I explained that was the time it took us to have dinner, discover the grime we were about to spend the night in, and decide whether or not this was preferable to dealing with further travel and expense after a tiring 20-hour day. In return, the receptionist informed me that people tend to come to this property to stay a couple hours and then leave, so he could not issue a refund but instead offered to switch us to a different room. I declined the invitation to discover what new horrors lay behind the other doors at the hotel. We instead traveled by foot and train in pouring rain from 1-4am in order to sleep at the airport terminal of our next departure, which ended up providing us a much cleaner and more comfortable rest for the night than we would have had at this hotel. I was thankfully able to get a refund (not through the hotel), but FUTURE TRAVELERS BE WARNED.

Service was great, rooms were clean, but there was barely any furniture, floors were tile with no rugs or even a doormat (it was raining) no cups, limited linens (no comforter), and the AC/Heat was loud.

The property is somewhat outdated, though it has been adequately cleaned. The room is average and feels safe. However, there were several issues: the room condition was not ideal, including the lack of hot water in the shower and a broken drawer in the bedside table. Additionally, the TV channels were unavailable, and the room lacked essential amenities such as a hair dryer and cups (neither paper nor disposable plastic cups were provided).

The guys who checked us in were very professional and nice. However, the room wasn't very clean. There was a blob of something that looked like jelly and hair on the floor, pee stains on the toilet seat (which were cleaned after we pointed it out). We had to also ask for washcloths (didnt get it) and a trashcan (got it). No where to hang up clothes, no ironing board. The door to our room didnt lock. We were offered to change rooms but honestly before you give a room key out, the room should be at leaat decent. Dont bring your kids here!

I consider this a budget motel. Entered and it had a smell of overused powder odor eliminator for carpets. But there's no carpets. The floor was sticky. We just made sure we wore our shoes. The linens and towels had stains and need to be replaced. The pictures posted of interior and exterior are pretty accurate. Yes, it shows it's somewhat modern, but it's cheaply done- decent enough for a budget motel. The AC unit worked great. The shower water pressure was great! The person working the desk was nice. Location is about 15-20mins from NJ transit - Elizabeth/Broad Station. There's a grocery store in short distance. Bus stop nearby, but it didn't show up twice as stated on schedule. Lyft is avaliable. We used that to get to mall and back, as well as getting to the airport. The airport is close and took about 10 mins drive. The motel was quiet. Didn't hear traffic and neighbors were quiet. I felt safe in the area as i walked to/from Elizabeth station. The area near the stain station had dining, but we didn't eat there. Police station also located there. I wouldn't stay here again. It was my first time in NJ. It wasnt the worst budget place in stayed at for a last minute trip. Is definitely pay more and stay somewhere else.
