Building needs some updating. Its worn. The room was fine. Huge TV. Location was good and shuttle was convenient. Went to the bar to get something to eat and was told by customers that kitchen was extreamly slow. 40 min. to get food. I didnt stay to order.
This was a perfectly serviceable hotel for a one-night stay between flights. The process of getting a free shuttle to the hotel is absurd, however. Between the 2-mile walk from the terminal to the only place the shuttle picks up, and the need to use an app to order the shuttle (which was NOT specified when we made the hotel reservation), we ended up taking an expensive cab to the hotel instead. Why not pick people up at their arrival terminal?
Would have like a few more options for a late night snack for those jet lagged and looking for a quick midnight. Yogurts, ice creams etc in the fridge by the desk would be great.
I ordered Chinese as recommended by the front desk. But they took an hour and fifteen minutes to show up. It was well past midnight by the time the food showed up.

This hotel is better and cleaner than similarly priced hotels near JFK. But there is limited dinning options around and walking around the hotel searching for a place to eat may not be that safe.
If i cant submit the truth then screw your site and any reviews.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel itself is as it seems. Nothing fantastic or anything. It’s just useful as it’s nearby JFK for connections
The room was very clean. The shuttle service to and from the airport was excellent. The drivers were so nice and helpful with my bags. The front desk staff were courteous and helpful; one of them gave us a take out menu for Chinese food delivery to the hotel. The food was so good. I would stay at this hotel again.
We use the hotel as a base before flying out of JFK. It’s a good functional hotel, not too fancy, clean and convenient. Easy to find free on street parking. The street parking area is a little dark but overall felt safe enough. There is a very small bar at the hotel but it closes food service early. We had to walk to the local Marriott to get a late dinner. Next time we will get food on the road before arriving.
Had to go next door to the marriot for lunch after a long day's travel, and a minimal dinner option so we wound up ordering in. Room and bwd were great, clean, comfortable and very little noise from the hallway. Hotel was very clean, staff friendly and helpful.
The Hampton Inn is ok for a brief stay. It is a convenient to JFK and the staff is helpful. The breakfast is a basic Hampton Inn one. There is very limited dining in the area.

I am angry at myself for being in a hurry and booking this hotel without realizing it was a Hilton property. I suggest you avoid not only this location, but the entire Hilton chain as I have resolved to do. I have had NUMEROUS clearly worn-out mattresses at various Hilton properties recently so badly sagging to the center they were unsleepable.
At this location our thoroughly worn comforter had MANY fraying edges. An HVAC vent high on the wall had NO adjustability blowing air right at the heads of anyone in bed. And the Restaurant was really a small bar open only from 5-10 PM with about a dozen small plates.
I could go on, but I refuse to waste ANY more time on ANYTHING to do with Hilton and what it has become. Somewhere a man named Conrad is probably spinning in his grave.
