The Deluxe Twin room was spacious, even after we had a third bed arranged. The decor was modern. Room was very clean. Beddings were super soft.
We walked to the Mitsui Outlets and had dinner there. Enjoyable to have had a stroll along the local streets for bubble tea as well.
We stayed one night and headed to the Taoyuan airport the next morning. The train station was right across the street. Extremely convenient.
Great location and tidy room with a few turn offs:
- water leaked out of shower door since the sealant was loose
- cigarette smell was basically everywhere; in hallway and in suite
- shower head was hard to use
- it took some time to get in an elevator
- this hotel is not for someone who is sensitive to noises as the train comes and goes every few minutes
Marriott is losing its customer centricity, it seems to be a global phenomenon. It has become a common observation. I have had better experiences with other hotel chains atleast in this year.
