The hosts, Dave and Donna, really made is feel at home. The breakfasts each day were delicious. The house was very homey and the surrounding area beautiful. This was definitely a 5-star place.

The home was a beautiful alpine wood house with large porches to enjoy the outside. A variety of room sizes in the guest house offered economic options. Very close to the city square for dining and shopping

Great time in Wimberley

Wonderful first time experience at a Bed and Breakfast. Donna and Dave were wonderful hosts and provided great breakfast and conversation. The location was beautiful and private, yet close enough to all the shops and activities. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay near Wimberley.

Great experience!

This is a nice property in the middle of a hill. I am happy to have stayed in this place because it really helped me disconnect; the location is convenient for touring around. Donna and Dave made us feel like we were visiting family. They were friendly and went the extra mile by giving us advice about Wimberley’s surroundings. The room was clean with a charming country decoration, and the breakfast was very hearty and delicious. Definitely a place to come back to!

The house is a beautiful and very secluded property. It sits on 11 acres and it's surrounded by trees. The owners, Dave and Donna, are wonderful and very sweet. They keep this place immaculate. Both of them are very welcoming and great to talk to. The breakfast is fantastic with a nice variety of delicious food prepared with fresh ingredients. They have great options for coffee and tea as well. Our room was very nice and cozy. The bed was a little firm for our taste but everything at this property gets 5 stars. There are several fun things to do in the area such as hiking, shopping, art, museums and great restaurants, all within 5-40 minutes of the property. We will stay again when we come back to the area and do recommend the Prow'd House 100%. Thank you, Dave and Donna for an excellent and enjoyable stay. It was the perfect getaway for us.

It was my first time staying at a B&B and this property was the best choice to get that experience, the hostess were friendly , helpful and very accommodating. Breakfast was very home and catered with care and hospitality. Rooms were clean and each has its own character. I had all I need it. My only observation is that the walls are very thin I could hear all that was going on in the other rooms , might be a turn off for some . Over all good experience , I would come back , for sure .

I it was close to Wimberly but out in nature. The owners have a beautiful property. And they are so personable. Definitely plan extra time at breakfast to visit with them. I would stay there again.

Donna and Dave were very friendly and welcoming. The homemade breakfast was delicious, and we especially enjoyed the breakfast time with the other guests. The Prow'd House is located a couple of miles out of town, and we appreciated the quietness of the place after enjoying various activities in the area such as Old Baldy, the Blue Hole, and the Driftwood Estate Winery.
