Great little spot in New Bedford with great views of the Harbor. The little restaurant on site was great too and have a lovely guitarist the night we stayed.
Awesome place to stay. Parking was tough and they have an overflow spot a couple blocks away. Great restaurant and bar below. Had a noise issus with very loud music in one to the rooms but I'm assuming that was a a random experience. .
Excellent location central to Newport and convenient ferry service to Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard. Restaurant in the hotel was a surprise and the food was fantastic!!!
This historic property is right downtown, near numerous restaurants and the amazing whaling/revolution museum. We spent 3 1/2 hrs there. New Bedford ideally situated between Newport & Cape Cod. Restaurant/bar were good and all staff were pleasant and helpful.
Conveniently located in walking distance of the Harbour and restaurants. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and comfortable, though minimalistic. There is street parking if you are lucky; we were. Otherwise paid parking is a mile from the hotel. We were just passing through but would gladly return for a longer stay.
My only complaint had nothing to do with the hotel or staff who were both amazing, helpful and kind. The New Bedford PD must do more about the surrounding area. I witnessed a huge fight with multiple police cars (after the fact), was followed to my parked car by a person asking for money (8am on a Monday holiday) and sirens and altercations throughout the evenings that we stayed.
Again, the hotel was clean. The staff was kind and helpful.. I would stay there again, just be aware of your surroundings and I hope the local PD can step it up.
The hotel director did a great job! She was very attentive and sending and responding via text was favorable! Having a restaurant and bar on the premises is key if you don’t know the area. Also having a parking lot to not have to worry about paying a meter is ideal even though you have a walk but you can consider as exercise. All in all a good stay!

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
The staff was as personable as they were professional. The location is ideal, within walking distance of the Martha's Vineyard ferry and several really nice restaurants. My only regret was the bed; it was perhaps the most uncomfortable I've ever slept on. Aside from that, my stay was pleasant.
Safe and modern hotel with a comfortable bed and clean room.
We parked overnight on the street and had no issues.
Walkable to dining options and very close to shows at the the Vault.
The hotel staff was lovely. Staffing was light as no one was able take my bags to the room. However the neighborhood was less than ideal and the parking lot was two blocks away.
The room was clean and had what I needed except that they did not give ample shower gel and the towels were way too small. But over all a pleasant stay.

Disliked: Amenities
In need of updates, breakfast was poor in both selection and flavor, offsite parking was a long distance to walk and it was LOUD with street noise. The staff was helpful and friendly. Our shower was not working and maintenance was unavailable to fix AND no room was available to switch us to do they allowed us to use a shower in another room to ensure we were taken care of.
