Awesome stay! We got free airport transfer inclusive in our room rate might be due to low season. Room is clean and everything were great! Excellent fine dining standard breakfast. Started with croissant, slice chocolate cake, muffins followed by main course choose between western or Sri Lankan style then complete with fruits platter! Friendly staff!

Hotel was very nice, good location, staff were friendly but definitely it could have been cleaner. The ac started leaking after using it for few hours. It kept making horrible noise. Notified the staff but nothing happened.

The hotel has no proper lobby, Front desk don't seem interested to answer questions, floor was dirty in the room, room had no proper window, window was on walk way that has to remain close as people pass by. The rate charges for this is too high for low season which did not include breakfast. Also purchased food at the restaurant that was pricy for a hotel of this size and service

Staff were freindly attentive and welcoming. The rooms were clean but the bathrooms could do with a better clean due to the mould in the shower and the dirt on the back of the bathroom door. The bathroom locked itself several times snd staff had to unlock it.

Excellent friendly staff at the hotel. Upgraded my stay for Suite room I was over the moon. Really enjoyed staying at Pledge 3. This is the second time I stayed in this hotel. I will recommend to any one without any hesitation.

Good food, good location!
Located in Negombo - we chose this hotel for its proximity to the airport and the good food reviews. We were not disappointed. The hotel was easy to find, check in was quick and the room was modern and clean. Good air conditioning and a fan for a quieter option. The only issue we had was locking the bedroom door - but that was soon figured out! We dined in the restaurant and found the food to be fresh, tasty and at a reasonable price. Seafood is the focus here - you will not find traditional Sri Lankan curries. Beers were cold and the service was great - I would definitely recommend. Although we did not use any of the other facilities, the pool area and seating looked modern, clean and like you could easily relax here. We used the free hotel shuttle to take us to the airport at 4am - which took under 15 minutes. Ideal for such an early morning flight. Normally they would allow 30 minutes.

Lovely hotel, pool and restaurant. Rooms on ground floor face passageway so can’t open curtains without being overlooked. Only complaint was complimentary transport to airport was half hour late and had to insist they call another taxi. Staff are very friendly and despite room and taxi comments I would stay again .

Tranquil and stylish getaway near airport
We stayed here for the convenience of catching an early flight, but we were very impressed with the quality of the room, pool, and restaurant. Being able to take a late evening swim and then have an absolutely delicious meal were unexpected treats. The staff were very friendly and courteous, and our airport transfer worked out perfectly.

I have been there with my family in July 2017 for one transit night. So i cant give a comprehensive feed back a bout : The good things : - Not far from the airport less than 30 minutes. - They provide with one way free airport transportation. -Room is comfortable. I didn't use the pool but it looks good. I didn't eat any food in this night.

Peaceful and relaxing
Decided to treat ourselves after 3 weeks travelling around Sri Lanka and we were not disappointed. Its a great boutique hotel. The bedrooms were a good size and the free fruit basket and bottled water was fantastic. The bathroom was large with all the little extras which make a stay that little bit easier We had the dinner and breakfast included and were blown away with them both. The meal was a 5 course menu and the breakfast was 4 courses. We left both stuffed and impressed with the quality. The pool area always had areas in the shade and there were enough beds for all guests. Overall it was a very peaceful stay, if I return I would stay here again.

We were greeted with a welcome drink and an upgrade to a suite, which was beautiful. All the staff were very friendly and efficient and we loved the atmosphere of this beautiful boutique hotel.

Very nice staff - helpfully, friendly, efficient Hotel clean and in perfect condition Nice pool Only negative point: if your bedroom is on the ground floor, you have no direct sunlight as you need to keep your curtains down... our window was facing the reception so everyone could see into our room Hotel food is very good!!

Really lovely boutique hotel. fabulous service by all staff. They couldn't have been more attentive or have done anymore for us. We arrived very early, we had a much needed welcome drink and they managed to let us use a room to clean up and get changed for the pool. Our room was also ready early. Rooms are very clean and modern and have very comfortable beds. The food was good too. Breakfast is HUGE and delicious. Pool was well kept and very pretty. We would definitely stay here again without hesitation. It was a lovely tranquil oasis.

Charming boutique hotel
Friendly and helpful staff. Close to the airport (around 15-20 mins) and hotel could help arranging the transportation. Fast check in and check out. The food is great!

Chic Hotel Trying to be Something it Isn't
This is a chic and modern hotel that is trying to be something that it hasn't quite yet achieved. To Westerners, Colombo is a very foreign and crazy place, so this hotel looks appealing because it is modern and offers some nice features. The airport pickup from CMB was there when we arrived and was nice, which we appreciated. The hotel staff upon arrival were friendly and got us into our attic suite. The room was big and the kind bed comfortable. The lighting in the room was poor at night. We had to leave for the airport at 5am for an early transfer to the Maldives, and when we woke up at 4am there was no hot water. I called down to the front and the gentleman there said he would look into it. I never heard back from him and the water never got warm or hot -- it was cold. This, of course, makes for a bad start. They provide a hair dryer, but it only worked in one outlet in the middle of the room (not the bathroom), and the plug was very loose and kept coming out. Bear in mind, we were in one of their two highest and most expensive rooms. They were supposed to have breakfast boxes ready for us when we left, which did not happen. There is no elevator, and the attic suites are on the third floor. We had to carry our own luggage down ourselves, which we can do but a hotel like the one that Pledge3 is trying to be would have offered to do this for us. It may be the best local option in Negombo, but it has a long way to go to be what they want it to be. Disappointed.

Small boutique hote . Travelled as a family with teenage daughters and stayed for 2 nights . Small pool but big enough for a swim and in a pleasant garden with trees offering shade . Staff extremely helpful particularly the manager who on being informed about my daughter's nut & sesame seeds allergies decided to type out a card in Sinhalese stating all her allergies which we could us when eating out .

Absolutely wonderfull stay!
We stayed the last three days and two nights of our backpack-trip at Pledge3, we were absolutely baffled by the cleanliness and atmosphere from this hotel, which we found to be very good! While some may say that the photos are somewhat deceptive, we think that all facilities are being displayed truthfully. We (young couple, late twenties) were somewhat early (10.30AM) at Pledge3, that was absolutely no problem, the lady at the reception guided us to the nearby sofas where we could rest and enjoy a fresh glass of juice, in the meanwhile our room was being prepared. While the service is really a bit slow and by times not perceptive, the food is very good, no difference in rating between breakfast, lunch or dinner. The rooms are clean, spacious and we didn't hear much of the surroundings from the somewhat noisy streets nearby. Even at the outside pool you had the idea from being away from the big city, so very relaxing.

The hotel itself....lovely, great pool area, lovely intimate size, friendly staff. Unfortunately, if you're booking the hotel for a restful night's sleep before heading home or onwards to somewhere else - think twice. Firstly, there was a very noisy party staying in the hotel and celebrating a birthday. The intimate size of the hotel means that everyone else had to celebrate with them - drunken people walking through the restaurant to get to the pool and running between rooms watching a football match. The arrangement of the hotel (like a US motel style, with 2 double storied buildings facing each other within the hotel compound) meant that this noise really impacted on the calm of the overall hotel. MUCH, MUCH worse was the all-night dance party going on next door, which meant that the entire room was vibrating with dance music from around 10pm to 5am, when we left for our flight. Not sure if this was a one-off, but really ruined our experience. Such a shame, as it really is a lovely boutique hotel - but this is totally unacceptable for a business offering somewhere to get a good night's sleep.
