"Location is good close to Gurney Plaza and Paragon Mall. Staff very welcoming right from arrival through to the time to depart. Rooms are well sized and very comfortable. Highly recommended if you are wanting to stay in Penang instead of the beach area at Batu Ferringhi."

"Excellent check in service. Good water shower pressure. Room air conditioning too cold even when adjusted to 26 degree. Breakfast buffet spread fluctuate, peaking towards weekend. Housekeeping was excellent. Location is excellent."

"We had a very pleasant stay overall. For a refurbished property, the room was impressively clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The views were beautiful too—whether facing the city or the sea, both offered a lovely backdrop to our stay. The staff throughout the hotel were warm, helpful, and welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Their hospitality was genuinely appreciated. We slept very well for most of our stay. However, on our final night, there were recurring loud sounds coming from the water piping system between approximately 1am and 3am. I’m not certain of the cause, but it was noticeable enough to disrupt our sleep. It may be worth having the piping checked. The pool area was pleasant and enjoyable. One small suggestion would be to have staff make occasional rounds to monitor tidiness and safety around the pool. There were quite a few crows around during our visit, and they seemed rather interested in guests’ belongings left on the sunbeds. Breakfast was another highlight—generous in variety and well-prepared. I would happily recommend it, especially for guests looking to avoid the more tourist-oriented prices around the Gurney Drive area while still enjoying a satisfying meal. Overall, it was a great stay with excellent value, comfortable accommodations, and wonderful service. With a little attention to the unusual water piping noise, the experience would have been even better."

"Great and personalised service. My parents enjoyed their stay. The hotel messed up a bit with their pick up service but then recovered the experience extremely well. Strongly recommend. Hotel staff such as Ummi, Maiyuri and many others made it a pleasant stay."
