My recent visit to Goode House B and B

Every thing went very well. Cheryl and Ken are great hosts. We were very comfortable. Would highly recommend this property. Ken is a veteran so we had a lot in common to talk about. Would definitely stay there again.

New Years 2020 Getaway

Beautiful bed and breakfast with great hospitality and very clean. Hosts were wonderful and informative of the history of the Good House and Natchitoches. We stayed in the Bayou room and it was amazing! Highly recommend the Good House!

Everything about "The Good House" was charming and inviting. The decor and space was first class from the fabulous breakfasts to the comfortable atmosphere throughout. Our hosts were friendly, outgoing, and helpful at all times. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit!

Very nice stay at this comfortable, clean Good House. The owners were attentive to our needs, and the room was large with a modern bath that was super clean. Our breakfast was delicious with yogurt parfait, blueberry pancakes, a delicious omelet, bacon, fruit, juice and coffee. I think you will enjoy your stay in Natchitoches here.

End of Trip

We stayed here after almost two weeks on the road. Cheryl was the exceptional hostess, making us feel like family. Beautiful home with more than adequate accommodations. Too cool for the backyard pool,but it sure looked inviting. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it highly!

Good but not a bed and breakfast

Great place to stay, very clean, good location but is not a bed and breakfast. You have to go to a restaurant for breakfast and there’s no one on property besides house guests.

Looking forward to another visit

My teen children and I stayed in the Good Suite. It was lovely. There was plenty of room. The home was beautifully decorated for Christmas. It was comfortable and inviting. Breakfast was delicious and enough to even satisfy my children. We enjoyed the greeting we recived upon arrival from Milo, the neighborhood cat. I wish we could have stayed longer. I look forward to taking my husband next time I am in the area.

Lovely home

The Good House is immaculately kept and furnished very nicely. There are some things you need to know before renting. The stairs are quite steep and the bed,at least in our room, is very high I am 5'6"and it was a challenge. A little foot stool would be nice. Check I was easy since the keys are in a lock box outside. One morning we were offered a voucher for breakfast downtown and one morning breakfast was brought in for us. It was delicious! There are baskets of snacks available. It is within walking distance to the downtown area. There is no staff on site so your experience here will Have a lot to do with fellow guests.

Best BNB ever!

This home was absolutely beautiful. The Christmas decorations were beautiful! We stayed in the best room ever - The Good Room. The bed was amazing as well as the Jacuzzi tub! It was definitely hard to leave that morning!!! It was awesome!

Will be back!

My wife and I just stayed for a long weekend and absolutely loved it! Our room was beautiful and spacious. The breakfast was second to none! This beautiful home is within walking distance of historic downtown Natchitoches...which we love!

Nice stay, quiet, completely alone

Great anniversary getaway, loved Louisiana. This was our 8th bed and breakfast experience, and it was great however we never actually met our innkeeper. She was very helpful over the phone and provided complimentary breakfast at a nearby restaurant. Just not what we were used to, but still a good experience.

Such a Pleasant Visit

We only stayed one night, and it was wonderful. The Good House is very clean, incredibly welcoming, and very close to town. It is located in a very nice neighborhood too. We couldn't have ask for a better experience. Nancy is a gem, and a heck of a good cook!

We stayed at The Good House in Nachitoche, LA for part of our honeymoon and it was a wonderful experience. Our hostess was friendly and attentive. Beautiful house as well. Lots of delicious local food also.
