This is an outstanding motel. Spotlessly clean, comfortable, very well supplied, spacious, great location, and wonderful staff. We spent two nights there on holiday and I just cannot find enough superlatives to describe our stay at this motel. Napier is a great town, and the bike ride along the beach path is most highly recommended.

10/10 Amazing stay! Location is perfect on Marine Parade, right across from the beach and a short walk to town center and restaurants. Room is huge, and the in room jacuzzi was awesome and very helpful after long hikes and bikes! Full kitchen. Free wifi and parking.

Owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was great. The ocean was just across the road and we had a nice view from our room. On the edge of town, it was an easy walk for shopping and dining. Our room was recently remodeled, beautiful, comfortable and very clean. I would recommend this motel to anyone staying in the area.

Great place to stay. Handy to everything, great service spotless and quiet. The owners are a really nice couple. Supplied information on what's happening places to see and wine trail. Easy to talk to and make you feel at home. Same with the staff. Have stayed here before and will again. Highly recommend this place.

Motel De La Mer is a perfect place for a "free and easy" holiday. The surrounding itself e g. the accessibly beautiful beach and ocean front makes this motel even more touristically attractive for stays. The staff were not only friendly, but also very accommodating in their own ways. Julie and Santini were superb - front staff. The housekeeping staff are so well trained and we felt "afresh" all the time with the daily housekeeping provided by them. Thank you all!

This is a lovely Motel close to the Main Street and shops of Napier and with beautiful views across Marine Parade to the ocean. It also has a great walking area across the road along the main beach and park with swimming pool and kids playgrounds. The living area is spacious and separate bedroom large. The kitchen is very tiny with not much room to do much but heat food in microwave. We had 2 sets of fairly steep stairs to access the room so beware if you have any mobility issues. The owners were very helpful and pleasant and we would stay again.

This is the best Motel I have ever stayed in. I love everything about this motel. The room is so clean and stylish with an amazing view!!! Everything you need is provided. Microwave, stove, everything you need for the kitchen. The location is great. Close to everything I wanted to go. The manager Julian is absolutely amazing!!!!!! He had done everything he could to make my stay fantastic!!! Thank you, Julian.
