They earn the Excellent in their name. There is plenty to do just on the property in terms of activities and shops. The rooms are also one of the largest sized ones I could find here in Nagoya.

Really great hotel!

Clean, comfortable and great value for money. Room was more specious than expected. Staff are friendly and professional. Great location in the city center, and near to a big Donki! In the same building as Gold’s Gym, so I got a visitor pass. I will stay again.

Great Location, straightforward hotel in Nagoya

The hotel is centrally located. The rooms are slightly bigger than Japanese hotel rooms at the bigger cities. Check-in was quick and straightforward, all our rooms were ready and as requested. The beds dip in the center though, slightly overused. You can access the Gold's Gym within the same building at a discounted price. Housekeeping only comes every 3 days, but they leave fresh towels every day. Service was good, very straightforward. They give you what you request for. my 2nd stay at an APA hotel, will defiintely stay again in future.

Location is great. Mirai Tower is just behind the hotel. Very near bus stop and train. Mitsukoshi is just about 2 blocks away. The Pillows are hard and odd shaped. The bed is too soft for my back. The carpet is not so clean, kinda icky at the corners, maybe very jard to reach with the vacuum. So just use slippers and dont drop anything on the floor. :)

My room at this APA Hotel was near Otsu Dohri facing north. During this period of my stay (Mar 13-15, 2024), night-time outside air temps were in the range of 6~10C, cool enough to sleep with the window barely open. Cool night-time air is a very good thing: the hotel does not switch its HVAC system from heat-only to A/C only until night-time ambient outside air temperatures reach about 15C at night, about from late fall to late April . (If an air conditioned room is important to restful sleep, I suggest staying at a different APA property or other hotel with full-time, year-round A/C.) But street noise, including some construction sounds at night across the street on Otsu Dohri precluded a quiet night's sleep unless the window was tightly closed. Otherwise, the room was comfortable and clean. The bed was nice to sleep on, especially since the staff provided me with two extra blankets on those cool nights. BBC was the only TV channel with English; remaining channels only provided the usual mindless Japanese TV fare. Hotel staff were splendid, and went out of their way to accommodate my requests.
