Good hotel
Good hotel for family. Microwave oven in the room is very useful. Not far from tram no.23. We went to the city by U train and got back by tram. Several minutes walk to supermarket. Breakfast is good especially fresh fruits (Kiwi, orange, Apple)

Sehr gut: Große Suite (sogar mit Mikrowelle) zu einem günstigen Preis und nettes Personal. Mittel: Knapp 15 Minuten zur Fuß bis zur U-Bahn (für Geschäftsleute mit Auto allerdings super Lage inmitten verschiedener großer Firmen). 1 Stern Abzug, da im Fitnessraum die zentrale Kraftmaschine defekt war und blieb, und ich mir das Hotel auch nach den Fitnessmöglichkeiten ausgesucht hatte. Dennoch eindeutige Empfehlung, und ich würde sofort wiederkommen!

We’ve had a pleasant stay at Novotel. The staff was courteous, the amenities were ok, and the ambiance was delightful. However, there was an incident that left a sour note in an otherwise pleasant stay. Upon my check-in night, we were greeted by an unwelcome guest, a cockroach in the room. Naturally, this was an unpleasant surprise and not something one expects in a hotel of this caliber. When I reported the incident to the administrator on duty, I was disheartened by their initial response. They seemed to try and shift the blame onto me, suggesting that the insect had entered when we opened an outside window. ( I was explicit in my explanation that it was my first room entry and no opening windows). While I understand that bugs can find their way into any space, I found this explanation lacking in accountability and not customer friendly practice. Apart from this unfortunate incident, stay was quite comfortable. The room was clean, spacious, and well-appointed.

Ich war in letzter Zeit öfter in Hotels unterwegs und konnte feststellen, dass es hier einige Details gab, die ich sonst nicht hatte. Das fängt beim frischen Schnittlauch und der laktosefreien Milch (beim Frühstücksbuffet) an und hört bei den Zimmern auf. Das Personal war auch sehr aufmerksam und hat ordentlich auf Hygiene und Sauberkeit geachtet. Bin wirklich sehr zufrieden.

Von der Lage her war das Hotel optimal für uns, allerdings könnten die Zimmer mal modernisiert werden. Die “weißen” Wände hatten teilweise dunkle Flecken und waren schmutzig, die Toilette war zwar sauber aber hat sehr nach Urin gestunken. Ich hatte das bei der Rezeption gemeldet, allerdings ist darauf hin nichts passiert und wurde einfach vergessen, was ich sehr schade fand. Hier wäre sonst eine kleines Entgegenkommen der Unterkunft nett gewesen aber das gehört hier wohl nicht zum Service dazu. Werde es nicht weiterempfehlen und ungern wieder kommen.

Die Zimmer sind schön groß und gemütlich eingerichtet. Das separate WC ist gut. Der Wasserkocher hat mir gute Dienste geleistet.Die Mikrowelle habe ich nicht genutzt, aber toll, dass es sie gibt. Nur der Minibarkühlschrank sollte beim nächsten Besuch bitte auch kühlen! Beim nächsten Münchenbesuch komme ich bestimmt wieder!

Great accommodation for a good price
We were pleasantly surprised with our stay here, since the score is quite average. But the room was specious and clean and the staff was super-friendly! And breakfast was great. The hotel is closer to the LH bus service to the airport, so we will surely be back.

Leider nicht in UBahnnähe, aber immerhin ist die nächste Busstation nur 5 Min entfernt. Ansonsten ist in der Gegend nichts los. Rein zur Übernachtung ist das Hotel allerdings zu empfehlen.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Petty thieves who coerced us into paying for an extra night because we requested a room with a functioning toilet/bathroom. Toilet in my initial room didn’t work, but hotel maintenance was gone for the day so I requested a new room with a functioning toilet and was told I could occupy the first room until the toilet was fixed. I didn't move into the new room because it was not clear which room we would stay in once the toilet issue was resolved. My other two guests arrived and unpacked in the new room. Went out for the night and got back to the hotel late – the other two guests went to the new room where their stuff was and went to bed, and I went to the initial room where my stuff was and went to bed there. I was woken up by the front desk calling me and requesting that I move my stuff into the other room, which I did. On the last morning, a manager demanded that I pay for BOTH of the rooms. What?! I was expecting them to offer a discount because of the hassle of dealing with a room with a broken toilet, let alone ask us to pay extra! I said no and explained that they told us we could occupy both rooms and they would not have been able to rent out a room with a broken toilet, anyway. I left the hotel but when the other two guests tried leaving the hotel, they were confronted by the front desk staff who did not let them leave until they paid this extra charge. Completely disgusted with the lack of professionalism, rudeness, and borderline criminal behavior!

Business hotel
This is a sister hotel to the Ibis next door, except this has "suite" rooms. Here, "suite" simply means there's enough room for a desk and a bathroom with a bath. The installations are very tired, despite its being fairly new. For example, the lamps look battered, the blinds were replaced but the old ones never fully removed, the shower was leaky, and the sink drained very slowly. The pictures show a screen that can divide the room. This was missing in my room for no apparent reason. Some surfaces were really dusty, like the light fittings, bedstead. Breakfast was OK but nothing special. I *may* have also been bitten by bedbugs here. I can't prove this was from this hotel.
