Change the name to Mike's Place!

We loved this place. It's in a big old farmhouse and doesn't look like much from the front, but it is a hidden gem. Mike runs the hotel so well & is really helpful; they should change the name to Mike's Place. It's really clean, comfortable & has everything you need. There's a big kitchen with almost every appliance you could want. It's really quirky and cool. 30min from Bern. Schönbrunnen is just up the road for groceries, cash etc There's isn't a lift as the house is heritage listed, so keep baggage light if possible.

Very nice, clean, spaceous and convenient. The owner is very kind. Really great and safe place to stay to explore the area. Child-friendly. Plenty of games and other facilities available. Clean and spaceous bathrooms, Convenient kitchen, even with rice-cooker. Highly recommended!.

The place is like a ghost town at night in a total dark field. It is next to a very noisy dance hall at night. The attendent is rather rude and unprofessional, the place feels like a crime scene. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! It should be removed from any list.

Der Bau ist renovierungsbedürftig. Sanitär auf dem Flur, 5G-Empfang mehr als dürftig. Bei offenem Fenster versteht man nichts mehr durch den Straßenlärm. Für den Preis alles andere als empfehlenswert.

Sitio acogedor del que se puede disfrutar

El dueño muy amable, nos estaba esperando y nos explico todo. Es un hotelcon mucho encanto y aunque el baño es compartido estaba muy limpio La sala de juegos les encanto a los niños y lo del espejo de blancanieves es una cosa muy curiosa. Lastima que estabamos de paso y solo pudimos estar una noche.

Economico e comodo

Abbiamo scelto questo hotel per la posizione e perche' economico, e' molto vicino al centro di Berna e all'autostrada che ci permetteva di spostarci facilmente in tutta la Svizzera in automobile. Consigliato per chi non ha un grande budget e vuole fare escursioni grazie alla posizione strategica. Dopo una giornata di escursione si e' troppo stanchi per fare serata quindi la sala giochi in cui ci sono biliardo, biliardino, ping pong e altro e' un grande bonus per passare la serata.
