I stayed at The Art Hotel & Resort in Bahrain over the weekend and had a fantastic experience. I booked one of their spacious rooms, which was modern, exceptionally clean, and well-designed for comfort and relaxation.
The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout my stay, making me feel right at home. One of the highlights was the amazing amenities — from the beautiful pool area to the well-equipped fitness center and relaxing spa, everything was top-notch.
This hotel truly offers a luxurious and enjoyable stay. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality getaway in Bahrain.
- Very poor Hygiene level. (Trash in corridors and parking left for 2 days without Collecting)
- Very poor communication, they changed the food to be buffet not in room dining without
Informing us and later on asked us to pay for breakfast (although I booked BB)
- very poor beach area, they had play area in the middle of sea full of sewage and sharp edges that hurt myself and the kids (I don’t know why they aren’t shutting it down)
- very late room service (understaffed although the hotel was almost empty )
- very poor room service quality
- very poor gym outdoor doesn’t even have a treadmill.
- the girl at the reception doesn’t even understand what documents she need for the reservation and very rude
- very poor in room breakfast (I wish I didn’t book with breakfast)
I visited this hotel when it was under rotana management and it was completely different but its level now is completely awful
My experience there was unpleasant, on check-in they were friendly and answering all questions regarding using the amenities after covid-19 and explain all the regulations, we went to swim they had only one door open to access the swimming pool which was crowded most of the time. Next day we went to have breakfast and they did not allow us to enter the restaurant and we need to have it on the room which negates what they told us at the reception especially I asked thoroughly regarding that. There was a staff named Tariq who was trying to help us and was understanding all the time but reception staff were really unprofessional we asked them to tell us where we can do covid-19 test before traveling back, they advices us to went to Kims hospital and to show them hotel's key to get a discount, we went there and no one had an idea regarding the discount.
We stayed here for a week for a family vacation. Overall the hotel was good, however a few comments; the kids club was not particularly well managed and we caught the staff showing a PG 13 action film to our 5 year old; the coffee shop in the lobby was below standards, there were many different roasts and coffee options advertised however the staff had no idea about them and said there was only one roast or Nescafé available. Other than that an enjoyable stay.
The facilities are awesom the kids club there was (offensive smell and poop ) in the ball pit !
My booking was wrong and the decay was not helpful at all
Very disappointed. Booked and paid upfront for a club room with lounge access ( club rooms are on floor 10 and above ) . Upon check in Ive been placed in a room on 2nd floor. The shower was leaking, the water tap literally fell off, the phone wasn’t working and despite several complains no action taken.
Second day I had to literally raise my voice to the front desk staff and manager stating that I had paid for a club room and demanding my so said right.
I have not been offered a compensation, nor an upgrade ( as the hotel was full for the weekend ) and all I’ve been offered was a lunch voucher. Bare in mind the difference between a normal and clubroom is approx 40BD p.n. that I had paid upfront ! I finally received my club room for the second night after following up with the front desk twice.
Sadly ,very poor customer service. I’d expect min a refund of the difference I had already paid but was given poor excuses and NO SOLUTION. Never coming back and definitely making sure that none of my contacts are booking this property while in Bahrain
The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable with a great beach view.
The pools and the water playground are awesome!!!
It would be great if the room had a nespresso mechine
