The apartment was very clean and we really enjoyed staying there. However, the after-hours check-in was not smooth since the key they left for the main complex did not work and neither did the garage key to open the gate to the private parking area. A call to the after hours number helped me open the main complex with a code and they contacted the property manager to come back with a working key in the lockbox that evening (the manager did not follow up on this). I had to walk down to the leasing office the next day in person to get a working main complex key and garage key. They really need to test all keys out to guarantee a smooth check-in for guests.

Convenience of location. Check in was confusing. TV in bedroom did not work and despite informing management nothing was done. Fire alarm kept firing at 2 am non stop until the about 4 hrs later.

Highly recommend this place!

Truly truly wonderful experience. The welcome letter was very clear with specific instructions. Parking was free, centrally located and the apartment is exactly as described. Congratulations to their cleaning team. The apartment was immaculate. The only complaint was the rug in the living room needed to be cleaned as it was a bit worn. Also the blinds in the living room and 2nd bedroom were broken, but Mgmt said they were going to be replaced. Otherwise it was a perfect stay.

Wonderful apartments for long term stay!

The apartment was spacious and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the washer/ dryer/ kitchen appliances were all brand new. The shower presser was dreadfully weak! Our stay overall was wonderful. We were traveling from abroad and had ordered some items in advance that our baby needed and the property had a few issues of keeping our packages for us before we arrived. Everything worked out well. Would definitely stay again.

Payment issue between Oakwood and Orbitz

I paid everything including tax in full through Orbitz website, but Oakwood tried to charge me tax. I explained Oakwood that I had paid tax through Orbitz so they needed to contact Orbitz to receive the tax, but they didn’t believe what I said and asked me to submit the credit card statement as a proof. Oakwood should have confirmed it with Orbitz, not me, and asking for credit card statement is a kind of disrepectful behavior against my privacy. I tried not to submit my credit card statement, but since this issue was not resolved as I expected, I had to send them my credit card statement for easy resolution. I really wouldn’t like to experience this issue with Oakwood.

Fantastic apartment with an excellent location

Almost new apartment that was very clean & modern. 2 large bedrooms each with a TV, large WIR and bathroom. Full kitchen that was well stocked with all cutlery & crockery. Also our own washer & dryer. Large comfortable lounge area with another large TV & dining area. Close to supermarkets, restaurants and public transport (bus). Would highly recommend this apartment & definitely stay here again.
