Sachez que si vous réservé pour 1 personne et même si vous avez noté un « grand lit », vous pouvez vous retrouver avec un lit à 120 qui grince, sur les toits. Chambre à laquelle vous accédez après des escaliers étroits qui vous feront regretter d’avoir pris une valise… Mais tout n’est pas négatif, j’ai pu négocier via la plate forme Hôtel.com pour avoir une chambre différente car je restais plusieurs nuits. Le petit déjeuner et très bien avec un vrai jus d’orange…c’est assez rare pour le signaler. J’avais eu une première chambre avec un très petit lit donc et une salle de bain miniscule mais un débit d’eau tout à fait normale, mais la 2e était une vraie chambre avec un grand lit, une salle de bain un peu plus grande mais peu de débit d’eau dans la douche…on ne peut donc pas tout avoir ma pauvre Lucette. Autre point positif quand même: la location ! très central, pas loin de la gare saint roch. Ils sont quand même arrangeant donc mon expérience a été positive globalement.

Terrible experiencia. Habitaciones mal aseadas y con malos olores. Aire acondicionado no funcionaba. Refrigerador tampoco. Hotel en pésimas condiciones. Tuve que irme de lo malo que estaba. Pese a que no funcionaban los aires y estaba desaseado y con mal olor, no nos devolvieron el dinero. No debería estar en Hoteles.com Es la primera vez que me va mal en un hotel.

Très satisfaite de mon sejour. Déjà dès ma réservation, l'hôtel m'a gentiment remercié de ma réservation. Ensuite, ils m'ont envoyé des conseils pour me garer dans le cadre des travaux dans le centre. Enfin j'ai ensuite demandé s'il était possible de mettre un mot sur l'oreiller pour l'anniversaire de mon mari et nous avions eu jolie carte avec un mot très sympathique. Accueil super, une gentille jeune fille souriante nous a accueilli et l'accès à la chambre possible avant l'heure prévue. L'hôtel est proche de tout, à quelques minutes à pied de la place de la comédie, des restaurants, de la gare. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir

The Hotel des Arts offers excellent value for money in a very affordable, no-frills package. The hotel is in a rather beautiful old building in the heart of Montpellier, close to the station, the Comedie area and dozens of narrow streets containing many bars, shops, restaurants and cafes. The youthful staff are friendly, helpful to a fault, knowledgeable and speak excellent English. Our room was clean, though small and basic, with no tea and coffee making facilities.. However, when we asked the receptionist, she went out back and found us a kettle and a couple of cups. What a lifesaver! The basic continental breakfast (€10.50 extra) was good and tasty, with plenty of fresh fruit and hot coffee. The only things we didn’t like were the bed, which was so hard as to be rather uncomfortable, and the lift, which is tiny and extremely claustrophobic. Overall, though, for the money, l would recommend the Hotel des Arts to any traveller on a budget, especially if arriving by rail, since it is an easy 5-6 minute walk from Montpellier St Roch station.
