When we arrived late at night, the place was totally dark…although the code worked to get into the building, the machine that was to dispense a key to us for the room was completely nonfunctional, and we had to book alternative accommodation. "Breakfast was good. Parking was adequate. Restaurant was good. Staff was good, including the restaurant. It’s in the middle of the midieval town, which was built on the rock cliffs. The river runs in the middle of the town, and there is a low level bridge at tge hotel to walk to a park across the river. We stayed here in early May, and the day we were there, the bridge was partially flooded. But the next morning the bridge was dry. The road bridge is way above, and never floods, so no worries....

Great pressure and temperature control along with space to move around. The grounds are beautiful! "Meget slidt udseende bygning, poolen var snavset, der lugtede surt/af gammel røg på trappen og vores værelse var en slidt lejlighed under taget som ikke lignede billederne og som intet havde med "slotsophold" at gøre. Badeværelset var ikke rengjort og det så ud som at der var nikotinlag på nogle af møblerne. Vi bookede et slotsværelse, men det lignede ikke de rum der var på billederne."
