Five days in Mondevideo

One of the tightest roons I've experienced in the Ibis Network. There wab no distincition for being a Silver costumer of Hotels.com. There are no soap in the sink. It was showing up only in the last two daus. The service is very cordial and the breakfast is basic very well done. But overal it was a pleasant and recommended stay.

Modern hotel. Best location.

Best location, Modern, well planned, good amenities, very quite (very good soundproofing). Excellent shower, good coffee and good staff. I strongly recommend this hotel for value for money.

Very Good Option

Great location. Small room. Clean hotel with a decent breakfast, friendly staff, and good customer service. For the cost, it was a very good option. I would stay here again.

Friendly for both you and your Wallet

I loved it, the staff was really nice, helpful and proactive. The breakfast was great and varied. Only downside is that my room didn’t have toilet paper, so I had to go to reception to ask for it

Ideal Hotel in a Good Location

Hotel was as advertised in a central location of Montevideo. Area around the hotel was very safe and I felt comfortable walking around. Arrived very late at night (2am) and my only issue is I was given a key to a room that was occupied. I walked into a guest asleep in bed. Nowadays I feel this is a very preventable issue that shouldn't occur. However, the staff on duty were exceptionally apologetic.

The first man at reception was not very friendly or welcoming. The girls after that were all helpful and nice. The room was excepcionally small, but the bathroom was up to date and clean, the hairdryer didn't work so I advised the reception. My fault that I didn't check the lack of parking, you can only park outside between 14 and 7 in the morning, but the hotel recommended a park house nearby where you get a discount. Breakfast was very spartan, only one sort of tea and coffee. the bistro was quite convenient

Good location smaller hotel

The hotel location was great. The check-in, reception and housekeeping staff were friendly. The hotel does need to do some updating and upkeep - the shower water stayed in the shower base and the towels need to be new as they were pretty worn out. As a suggest it would be great to change the small closet to house shelves on one side and a hanging area on the other as there is no room, other that 2 hangers on a wall to hand jackets etc. When damp/wet from the rain they overlap so don't dry out well. The food for breakfast was great and a good variety of choices. Unfortunately we didn't have a good experience with the wait staff in the breakfast area. They weren't friendly and definitely not courteous; we didn't realise that this hotel unlike other Ibis Styles that I've been to before didn't allow any snacks to be taken out and/or coffee (but there wasn't any in the room or in the lobby) and we did do that until we were advised otherwise by the manager. (My Bad - apologised to them and stopped). We also didn't know that we weren't allowed unlike other Ibis Styles or other some other hotels visiting guests in the room (we had one from hotel across the road who came to watch a movie). We did sort out the issues with the manager and overall, other than some upkeep and update of the rooms, it was a good place for our purpose of stay

Montevideo Biarritz Hotel was perfect for a couple of nights to recover from several long days of flying, sailing and driving. We were able to sleep soundly and have excellent meals at the hotel. Hands down, O would stay there again.
