"The good points about the hotel were the breakfast, the staff, who were helpful and the rooms which were for the most part well maintained. We had several very positive interactions with the front desk and on the whole they met our needs. The location is pretty good and there is access to a sandy beach at low tide. Do bear in mind that the hotel is close to the port, so noise can be an issue if you room on the mountain side of the property. The wireless was extremely weak. As this was (partly)...

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Flag Design Hotel in Viana. The staff is super friendly and the hotel very comfortable. Perfectly located at the center of the city, clean and convenient. We appreciated we could watch the FIFA World Cup games from the room or cafeteria and loved the library and conference rooms as we needed to do some work/study. 100% recommended! "Wir sind sofort nach dem einchecken wieder abgereist, weil alles ganz gruselig war. Große Flecken auf dem Teppich an den Gardinen. Die Möbel sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Der Geruch in dem Zimmer etwas ekelig. Diese Unterkunft würde ich für den Preis nie weiterempfehlen."

Das Hotel könnte etwas gepflegter sein, vielleicht sollte man die Teppichböden entfernen… sonst haben wir uns wohl gefühlt und gut geschlafen. Es liegt etwas außerhalb, wir konnten aber fussläufig alles gut erreichen . Das Fitnessstudio sah super aus, wir hatten aber zu wenig Zeit, es zu nutzen…"

"Leckeres Frühstück, tolle Anlage und saubere Zimmer. Das Klappsofa für die Kinder hat bei jeder Bewegung gequietscht und war für sie unbequem, weil es nur eine sehr dünne Matratze hatte. Der Strand ist super. Um das Hotel herum ist jedoch wenig los, also zu Fuß kann man nicht viel machen."

"I must say staff was amazing, great breakfast and enjoyable outdoors experience, specially the swimming pool. Unfortunately the room was small, old and dirty carpets, sewage smell in the toilet was unbearable. The place needs an entire refurbishment. I would not recommend."
