The room was a good size and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. We arrived later than we had told the host, but Pedro was waiting for us and appeared within seconds of us getting out of the car. He explained everything and even showed us how to work the shower (which is lovely). The breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice and home made preserves, was simple and perfect. We had a little terrace with two chairs, overlooking the vineyard, where we would watch the sunset and stars. The...

It was an absolute pleasure to stay in Albergaria: the facilities were perfect, the location was just right and most importantly the staff were genuinely nice and helpful. I don't always trust the reviews 100% but this place deserves the scores - very well earned. Its important to mention a fantastic breakfast too. After leaving this hotel we stayed 4 nights at a large corporate 5 star hotel in Lisbon and the service and breakfast were nothing in comparison to Albergaria. I wish larger chain...

Quinta do Xarrama

Évora

10/10 Excellent

Christina and her family are so kind and helpful and the property is stunning--so close to everything yet tucked away with views of the cork trees and orchards and cows. Pool was lovely. FOOD is amazing. French toast, homemade cake, jams, fruits breads and cheeses and lots of options for all kinds of diets. Room was private and quite. A tad hard to find--look for little sign and go down gravel road a short ways. Easy walk to supermarket too!
