"We had the 2 bedroom apartment and it was perfect for our family. All amenities well thought of. Place was walking distance into St Emillion. Eduard was available and communicative throughout the stay. The late checkout was a godsend for us too!"

Balthazar and Elliot were very attentive, kind, and even gave us recommendations for the next stop on our trip. The views of the vineyards were lovely and it was quiet and serene. "A Truly Unforgettable Hidden Gem in Bordeaux. 10 stars out of 5. First and most important – the place was renovated few years ago. EVERYTHING is brand new. Rooms are specious, bathrooms are huge, and have everything you need. Rooms have AC. Property has pool, pool house, gym, tennis court, BBQ place AND gardens, endless gardens, with fruit trees, thousand-year-old olive trees, pines, oaks and etc. You can walk gardens, enjoy weather, sunrise or sunset, it is so relaxing. It is absolutely OK...

"Matthias and Emilie were very gracious hosts. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Their beautiful animals were immediately our friends. We decided to have their dinner and it was amazing as was the breakfast. A bonus was we met another couple that stayed the night and became good friends with them as well. "Christophe and Christine the property managers were very friendly and helpful in suggesting restaurants and chateaus to visit. The breakfasts each morning were incredible: fresh baked croissants and bread, fresh squeezed orange juice, eggs made to preference. The location nestled in among the vineyards was picturesque and very quiet. The total experience far exceeded our expectations and I hope we can make a return trip."

"Gorgeous gardens, clean and quiet rooms, owners the most delightful people on the planet. Better to have a car, trains don't stop often. But owners very graciously drove me several times to another station."

"The Chateau du Palanquey is an amazing property. There are only a handful of rooms and it is very secluded. The owners helped us out with wonderful local restaurant recommendations and a brilliant wine experience. I cannot recommend this property more highly. It was magnificent. "
