Man kann ein Hotel auf verschiedene Arten bewerten: absolut, gemessen an den Sternen oder im Vergleich zum bezahlten Preis - Letzteres ist am aussagekräftigsten und da stimmt das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis absolut, unabhängig von der Frage, ob der fünfte Stern berechtigt ist. Sehr schönes Haus, tolles und reichhaltiges Frühstück, sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal (auch in Sachen Parkplatzsuche). Ein kleiner Abstrich: Reception ist nur bis 19 Uhr geöffnet - und somit auch der Wellnessbereich. Ich würde wieder kommen.

Der Service aller Mitarbeiter war Spitze !!! Dafür vielen Dank. Trotz zentraler Lage des Hotels haben wir eine himmlische Ruhe verspürt. Auch durften wir den privaten Badesteg des Hotels nutzen, seh schön gelegen. Wir werden das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen.

The Gem of Mondsee

From the moment we walked through the door, we were made welcome and looked after. We were led to our room where everything in our room was explained so that we could enjoy our stay. The room was excellent and was just how a hotel room should be, spacious, luxurious with wonderful high quality furnishings. The bed was nearly as comfortable as our own, with multiple pillows and high quality bedding. Making a reservation in the restaurant is a must. The staff were competent and friendly looking after us in great detail, always giving us the feeling that there was always someone nearby to serve us as soon as possible without being intrusive. The menu was not extensive but had a good variety of dishes with an optional fixed menu. We decided to go for the 1.2kg Tomahawk with the carpaccio starter.... we were very happy with our choice and enjoyed every tasty mouthful, the carpaccio was dressed with the most perfect egg yolk which was divine and accompanied the dish perfectly. The Tomahawk was prepared to perfection and was cut and served at the table, the side dishes were also very tasty and the sauce which was prepared was simply the perfect final touch... please do not change a thing before we visit one more time! The Wine list had a very good selection, National wines and international wines to suit all tastes including various price ranges with decent offerings of wine by the glass. The salted caramel house chocolates served at the end were somewhat of a grand finale

Amazing staff, excellent restaurant and comfy room

My 3 nights stay was nothing but fantastic experience. The room is spacious and comfortable while the restaurant is a gastronomical heaven. But what really makes this hotel shine is the amazing service and hospitality by the crew. I'll definitely be staying with them again when I visit Mondsee again next time!
