"beautiful property and view, comfortable, clean room and big bathroom, very charming, great location to walk into Regua, super helpful staff, wide breakfast selection with made-to-order eggs, and available parking"

"Great stay. Fantastic location, close to stores, restaurants, sightseeing."

"Amazing stay. Wonderful amenities in the room and common areas. Breathtaking views of the Douro valley from the floor-to—ceiling windows in our room, which was spacious and well appointed. Ana and Marco are gracious hosts who think of everything to make their guests comfortable. They gave us superlative recommendations for dinner and sightseeing. 10+"

"The grounds on this property are beautiful! Fantastic views, clean rooms, plenty of of parking, wonderful friendly staff and a great selection of choice for breakfast. I definitely recommend staying at Quinta da Portela Douro for your stay in Douro Valley."

"Everything was excellent we loved the room and breakfast was delicious"

"Fantastic stay for 2 nights in late September. Location is a challenging drive up a mountain, mixed signage. Great staff, lovely room and outstanding view on a clear sunny day. One challenge - breakfast is provided, dinner is not available....we did ask for a cheese platter one evening (the only option) but it was not made for us, not sure why - so we had to drive 15 mins into town in the dark. Overall a fantastic stay but be warned it is not a hotel, it is a quinta (farm) that does not...

"Excellent séjour, la quinta est somptueuse et le mobilier est de bon gout. La chambre était tres propre, tout était parfait."
