"Overall, this hotel is very average. There were a few positive and negatives. I’ll start with the positives. After asking for water and toiletries, they were eventually provided. They let me shower after checkout and stored my bag, which was nice!
The room is very average, but there was a gap above the door that didn’t shut all the way which let bugs in at night. There was loud music late into the early morning hours from neighboring hotels. And, perhaps the most offsetting aspect for me was...

"Wir haben zwei Nächte im Royal Palace verbracht. Der Besitzer war sehr nett und freundlich und hatte immer ein Lächeln auf den Lippen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das köstliche, abwechslungsreiche und reichhaltige Frühstück – das beste, das wir während unseres zweiwöchigen Aufenthalts in Sri Lanka hatten. Really quiet location away from the street noise/pollution.
Very helpful, welcoming owners that don't bother you, yet go the extra mile to help (for example when I cut my foot open from too much beach dancing!).
