Commune with nature and explore the great outdoors at Mount Kobushi during your travels in Yamanashi. Make time to visit the temples and monuments while you're in the area.
The staff were lovely. The hotel design was dated and no tattoos were allowed at the onsen however everyone has to still pay the onsen tax even if they are not allowed to use it due to tattoos.
The restaurant was amazing and great food

Wonderful little privately run bed and breakfast in lovely natural surroundings. The bed and breakfast is run with style, quality and homeliness in mind. The interior is decorated to be at one with nature and the local environment. Both the massage chair and the private bath for 2 (which needs to be booked in advance) were a pleasant surprise. It is a lovely hotel in a beautiful setting and is very homely and down to earth. I will definitely stay here again when next in Japan.

Very classy hotel with excellent service. Stayed for one night and had 6-course western dinner which was very good. The outdoor spa gets full view of Mt Fuji.
Fully deserved of 5-star review.

If you're looking for an onsen experience this is the place! We were welcomed as we drove up the windy mountain road to the hotel. The check in experience was calm and efficient. Dinner, breakfast and private bath times chosen. The baths are wonderfull, overlooking the river and with views down the forested valley. Dinner and breakfast were amazing, although our kids sadly didn't feel adventurous enough. It was a truly magical experience on our first trip to Japan.
