Whole stay was really confortable. Room and building were very clean with good smell and the receptionist and personnel was very kind.
Location to Tube Station is the BEST. Nandos is 30 meters :-). Co-op food market A+ my room was great… first floor , nice light through large window. Wood floors, 3.6M ceiling height was very 19th century! I will come back for sure. Reception is very helpful, they greeted me on Christmas evening at midnight. :-)
The property well located in a high security area, police patrol cars constantly on the beat. Property is in a high middle class neighborhood called Anzures, after a castle located in Spain, building interiors excellent design. It's very near skyscrapers downtown, all within walking distance. Personnel is courteous and warming. Hotel price is very fair.
It is a very good option for a quik stay! The staff is amazing. Tey guy at night super nice and the lady during the day, I think her name is Adriana, she is amazing! Super nice!! The room was super cold!!!! The linen is kind of gray and with blood spots that cant be washed away, and the towels are very old and have grey spots...
The room was super loud!!!
The location is excellent! Overall it was a very good stay
My stay was clean and comfortable. And the staff were delightful and they were watching the locked entrance 24/7 which I appreciated. It is in The edge of Polanco so you can’t beat the location for the price especially. The only thing I would dink them for was no washcloths and the towels were clean but a little ragged on the edges. The walls are also thin so when inconsiderate people blare their tv you can hear it loudly. However people calmed down at night so it wasn’t a problem and I have earplugs anyway. I will definitely stay there again. Loved it.
So it’s a two star hotel, remember that, it’s clean and modern.
The issues we had was the toilet kept getting stuck and wouldn’t flush, so meant having to take the top off each time to fix it, this was really annoying and even when we asked reception to fix it, it got fixed for one flush, not ideal.
The shower is great, hot and powerful, one of the best on my trip around Mexico.
Not sure if this was the hotel or Mexico City, but we experienced the cold water not being available for a few hours and the electricity cut out for a few minutes during the day and night.
Faster WiFi would be ideal, but can’t do everything for the price.
We had a double bedroom with two doubles in, and did feel cramped. Also, no air conditioning, but survived with out it (surprised myself).
If you aren’t planning to spend a long time in the room, then it’s good to just drop bags off and sleep and shower at.
No hot water at check in and had to wait a bit for the room even though it was after 6pm. There was never hot water except in the morning and maybe late evening. Was this by design? There is a tv, but it is laughable because there is no service with it at all. Overall the room is very clean and comfortable. I really don’t care about tv but you shouldn’t show them if they don’t really work. But, the hot water situation is ridiculous. I stay at this hotel a lot and I’ve never had the hot water problem.
Nice property, I really liked it upon first impression. But if you can’t sleep due to paper thin walls and noisy neighbours it defeats the purpose. I really appreciated the help from the property to ask the neighbours to quiet down.
Room was very cold and they dont have ac or any kind of heater , and you will hear the street sound it seems like you are in the tent , sound proofing is zero .
I paid for 3 nights in advance but i stay 1 hour there and I couldn’t sleep so i left there get another hotel .
No customer service at all. All the women at the front desk ask like they’re doing you a favor. The whole place smells like curry, 24/7. I had to ask for towels because they were none on the room. Their main doors need maintenance because they don’t work properly. And they’ll tell you “you need to pull it harder” instead of fixing it. Very basic room, I can’t imagine how hot it gets during summer season since they just have a small fan and mid December was extremely hot. The room where I stayed, had a constant noise from upstairs, like the pipes constantly making loud noises through the whole day.
The shower gets flooded, literally. It won’t drain.
I was glad I only stayed there 2 nights, but just don’t waste your money here.
