The Big Sandy Resort located right on the lake with a great view. We stayed here for one night and Ashley at the front desk, who was personable and helpful, made it a really good experience.

What a hidden gem that’s a little off the beaten path. I was looking for a last minute place to stay near Rice Lake wildlife refuge and a room was available. The lodge room was above the bar, and we took advantage of the bar and then the pool area, so there was never a noice issue. The pool area was one of the cleanest I think I’ve ever seen. All the staff from the front desk to the bar was super friendly and helpful
