Probably the best hotel in an area that does not have a lot of nice hotels. I would go back if for no reason that they have a good airport transfer, the staff are friendly and I don't think there's a lot of better places to stay in Male. The water pressure in the shower is fantastic although the temperature fluctuated so get ready to jump out of the way when it changes. Be careful of the shopkeepers in the tourist gift shops in this area. They will charge exorbitant prices and border on harassment to try to get you to go to their shop.

Staff and service was excellent. Facility and cleanliness felt only fair. But because of the price of nearly 400 usd per night, I am sorry to say it’s below average and definitely not worth it. I will not return for sure.

I had a wonderful stay at the Jen Maldives. The room was met expectations of a high standard hotel. There were a few issues that needed to be addressed, but they were attended to immediately i.e., a TV not working. The staff stood out as being very attentive and supportive. At breakfast the head of staff, Riyaz, made time to speak with me and give me some encouraging thoughts about Male, which re-assured me regarding things such as safety etc. This encouraged me to go out and explore Male, which I may not have been so keen to do otherwise. The housekeeping staff were also fantastic, such as Shani, who were constantly polite and made the room up really well. The staff are consistently respectful and helpful, with those at the desk helping make important phone calls when needed, and assisting regarding transfers and any other advice required. The food was really good, which the restaurant having a really good selection and varying prices. It was also good to use the gym and to relax by the pool. Overall, I would recommend staying at the JEN and would be happy to stay there again!

At the entrance of the breakfast the next day, the service manager Minasha greeted us very warmly and mentioned the room number we stayed and the drink we drank yesterday. She was very clear, which made us feel at home.

JEN Maldives was a great stay. Transfers were arranged swiftly with our resort. Check in was simple and the location was great. The room was great, very clean. Transfer back to the airport was arranged and was provided on time.

The spa was great. Loved the restaurant on roof. The roof top pool was amazing. Breakfast was very large with lots of options. Service was excellent. Rooms were clean and comfortable - very nice. Highly recommend.

The property and staff were lovely. Food at restaurant really good. Unfortunetly our plane was delayed so we got there really late and had to leave early, but I would have loved to seen more of it. It’s 3 stars at best

It’s a good option if you have to stay in Male island for a night. The floor is very greasy and the bed feels moist. The overall clean. Fast check in and pick up from airport. Decent selection at breakfast.

We reached Male late at night, so it made financial sense and was also a safer option to stay in Male for the night and continued our journey to the island resort in the next Morning. We chose Jen, which turned out to be an excellent choice. The hotel is like 15mins drive from the airport. They offer airport transfer on both directions. Walking out of the arrival hall, we were greeted by the hotel driver/staff, which was seamless. We had the executive room, which was quite spacious. The toilet and showering were in separate rooms. The building and rooms were a bit dated, but very clean. The bed and pillows were clean and comfortable. We had no complaint at all. The morning breakfast buffet was at lvl1. It is not sumptuous, but has decent spread including bread, porridge, some warm and cold dishes. The hotel also has a swimming pool and gym on the roof. After breakfast, the hotel sent us back to the jetty where we found and boarded the island resort speed boat. Overall, it's a pleasant stay and trouble free. IMO, this hotel is a good choice for Male layover.

Fantastic hotel for an overnight stopover between resorts and airport. Seafood platter with Lobster was delicious, mocktails tasted like the real thing. Comfortable bed and great shower. Pool and restaurant on rooftop with spectacular views. Staff amazing! Will definitely stay again 😎☀️🏝️
