Hotel offers very clean basic accommodation. My room was a small single but had everything I needed for a one night stay including coffee/tea AC and fan. Bathroom was small but adequate. Hotel is in a good location, close walk to the beach front. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Great location-only a few minutes walk to the beach, with the hotel providing beach towels and an umbrella. Breakfast was delicious and very filling. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again and recommend to others.

Great stay close to beach

Excellent renovated hotel with about a 2 minute walk to the beach. Room was very quiet also. They provide beach towels and umbrella also. We had room 202 which is the best front facing room as it has a large balcony with chairs.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast with fruits and bread changing each day. I would give this hotel 5 stars except the shower didn’t work for the first two nights of our stay, which was disappointing after a long and tiring journey.

This is a lovely comfortable hotel in a great location for walking to the beach, restaurants and the port. The breakfast is the best we have offered during all of our travels over 7 weeks in different cities in Spain! The staff members are friendly and always helpful. They take pride in their hotel. This is our second stay and we will definitely be back!

I’m so glad I found this wonderful little hotel which is both quirky in its decor but wonderfully modern in its fixtures and fittings. The breakfast is fresh and delicious. For us the location was perfect - just 100 metres from the beach and local bars and restaurants and yet the centre of Malaga is only a 15 minute walk away. Finally, the staff are welcoming, helpful and very friendly and we will definitely be staying here again the next time we visit Malaga.

The staff were friendly and helpful! The room and bed were comfortable. We especially enjoyed our little balcony! The breakfast was excellent and such a wonderful start to the day. So fresh and delicious!! The location of the hotel was perfect! A quick walk short walk to the beach and within walking distance to the downtown area. Restaurants were abundant nearby. Also, train and bus stations were within walking distance. Hotel California was a delightful experience and we plan to return!

As a single traveller this worked perfectly for me. A lovely quiet area, apart from the traffic noise from the road, but not the hustle and hustle of the city. The roof top terrace is very comfortable and relaxing. Staff at reception are helpful and friendly. Easy to walk into the city each day. A couple of restaurants near by, one excellent one for healthy food KeyZen. Fridge in the room was very handy to keep fruit and yoghurt water etc. I will definitely stay again if in Málaga. Thank you

Great location - walking distance to beach, restaurants, old city, museum, and fortress. Beds are very comfy and AC is excellent. Lovely rooftop garden to watch the sun set in the evening. Breakfast is top rate - perfect coffee with hot milk, warm freshly-baked rolls and croissants, freshly squeezed orange juice, granola, and yoghurt.

This was just a two night stay following a trip to Granada that left us close to the airport. The Hotel is 5 minutes from the beach and about a 30 minute pleasant walk to the Cathedral and town centre. Hotel was clean and well presented. Staff were helpful and the breakfast excellent. All-in-all a pleasant stay.

We stayed here two nights on a road trip through Spain. This was probably our favorite hotel. Location is great - near the beach and walkable to plenty of dining and attractions. Staff were friendly, breakfast was delicious, and there's a rooftop area that's open for guests to use. We had a lovely time here.

This place was a great! Maybe a little far from downtown and all the action, but everything about it was super nice and staff was very helpful! And it was steps from the beach, quick 5 minute walk :)

Really enjoyed our stay, the staff were helpful. Was close to the beach and a 15min walk to castle and 35min walk to Bus Station. Found the bed really comfortable, good air con, good sized bathroom and the breakfast was brilliant to set you up for the day
