"The hotel was amazing. We were lucky enough to have our room upgraded to a suite which was unbelieveable. The bed was really comfortable and everywhere was very clean and smelt lovely. The breakfast was lovely. Loads of choice of meats and cheeses and pastries. If you want cereal or yogurt or toast it's all available. Do not go expecting a full english as you will be disappointed. "Absolutely recommend this hotel, I have no criticism at all. 24hr check in, when we arrived late the receptionist was swift to check us in, informative, helpful with locating parking. The room was well equipped, clean and a decent size. The rooms were cleaned daily. However there is only limited clothes storage. The breakfast was decent with fresh cooked eggs to order, continental options, fruit, pastries, help yourself coffee machine and fruit juices. Staff were friendly. The hotel amenities were great, clean (but cold) pool, sun beds were comfortable, sun terrace was a nice space, we didnt use the gym or spa facilities but they looked clean tidy and of good standard. There is a bar and food options which we didn't use but looked plentiful. Throughout the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel location is great, a couple minutes walk to the beach, plenty ot shops and restaurants close by Would definitely recommend and would love to return if we are heading that way."

"Excellent location Service level and maintenance of the property needs to raised to a much higher level. Payment for beach towels and just about everything as an add on cost etc for a resort or this calibre drops the value for money experience. No tea and coffee in a resort unit! Nor bottled drinking water! Fantastic location and lovely town and the front desk can do better to explain the use of facilities. Dining hall appears like a mass production unit."

"I recently stayed at Grupotel Marítimo in Mallorca. While there are some strong positives, the drawbacks significantly affected my overall experience. Pros: The staff were exceptionally helpful and genuinely went above and beyond throughout the stay. The location is excellent — very close to the beach and easy to reach on foot. Breakfast was a standout, with a great variety of fresh, high-quality options. Cons: Sound insulation between rooms is extremely poor. You can clearly hear conversations and noise from neighbouring rooms, which made it difficult to relax or sleep properly. The hotel allows smoking, and cigarette smoke regularly drifts into rooms from nearby balconies. This was a major inconvenience and made the room uncomfortable at times. Overall: Grupotel Marítimo offers great service, a convenient location, and a fantastic breakfast, but improvements in soundproofing and stricter controls around smoking would significantly enhance the guest experience."
