"Room was very clean and maintained that way. Air conditioning - we turned it down. So tgat was okay. Plenty of shopping opportunitues near by. Food market was good for breakfast - i don't eat a large breakfast so a buffet woukd ve wasted on me. I still like a breakfast on site so it was good to be able to pay for what you eat. Also possible to get a hit drink or..... 24/7. "

"The hotel is in a perfect location for a Holland America Cruise. The basement bar was perfect, wonderful NY jazz bar vibes and brilliant barman. It's a lovely location for walking or water taxis and the food hallen down the road is a great spot to eat. The breakfast was quite different from what I imagined, having stayed at N-how a few weeks before nearby and having a wonderful healthy breakfast with so many options, so the very limited options here was a surprise. Due to the lack of explanation and no labels on the first 2 mornings it was a little difficult but by the third morning I appreciated the choice of nice bread and tomato and cucumber and cheese to make a nice sandwich which I enjoyed. If they improved the breakfast offerings, they would be 5 star for sure as building is gorgeous."

"This hotel is located with a tram stop outside and walking distance to the metro and inter city trains. It is a great location and only about four stops on the tram to Wilhameinapleim stop for the cruise terminal. It makes for easy and cheap transport on the tram and train using the OV chipkaart tap on and tap off card. The hotel is very comfortable with a very comprehensive complimentary breakfast. Staff are helpful and friendly."

"i enjoyed the view of the water, also walking alongside the water to all the excellent restaurants made my stay very nice. the lobby where you could just read a book and have something to drink. The breakfast is excellent. staff also very friendly. shops 10 min walking or the tram just in front of the hotel."

"I have stayed at many an Ibis but this one was the best. The young people at the front desk were delightful. The room was great - actually there were 3 of us and we got two rooms for what was the price of one in most places. The location was perfect and Rotterdam is a great city. I hope to go back and when I do, I will choose Ibis. Ah, one more thing - my brother cut himself removing the luggage from the storage locker and again, the front desk staff were great in administering first aid and sympathy!!:) Thank you for great service with a great attitude! Winnie"
