Like other review air freshener in lobby too strong. Room was fine. Location of the hotel not the best. Right off the highway and behind a gas station and the streets had a lot of motorcyclists in the area racing during the evening. I see they are redeveloping the property adjacent so hopefully that will improve the area overall. It admittedly did not feel the safest. The Haymarket food/cafe next to the property was very nice so hopefully the general area improves around the hotel.

Staff was amazing! Clean, well maintained, and friendly. I stay here regularly for business in inclement weather, all together we had 3 rooms total of 10 nights. Only reason I’m not rating a 5 star is my room temperature did not go above 65( other room was 78). I did not tell the front desk so that’s on me. And the parking lot was an absolute mess. I did communicate my concern on that and I am pleased with outcome
