We absolutely loved our stay at The Surfrider! This was truly the cutest place and was so welcoming from the moment we arrived. The staff was extremely friendly and the location couldn’t be better. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again!

Now the rooftop area is very nice. The whole reason I stay at the Surfrider is for the rooftop. Food and drinks are all very good. This trip I had an issue with the room. It always has a very nice scent but it smelled like it was covering something up. It was more musty and heavy than previous trips. We noticed the curtains were water damaged and stained. If I was staying more than the one night, I would've made a bigger deal about it.
Maybe the source of the smell in our room.
Best view in Malibu.
Drinks on the rooftop. Endless summer is a good one to try.

The room was very cute and peaceful. I loved the hammock and the rooftop area. The views are so pretty of the ocean and the staff was very friendly. It’s a small hotel which made it more personal, there was a little note with my name on it when I arrived to the room. I’d stay here again if I ever go back to Malibu.

I was pleasantly surprised by the room. The bed was comfortable and well put together. The decoration in the room was nice. The amenities in the room were great. They have beach towels, robes, and toiletries. I loved the coffee delivered to my room in the morning. I would stay here again when I am in Malibu.
