The location was perfect for Malibu. The room and property aesthetics made it simple and clean for a stay-cation. Appreciated the complimentary paddle board and beach chairs. Enjoyed the hotel room beach towel bag, Grown Alchemist toiletries and Parachute bathrobes. Rooftop restaurant bar was nice especially with blankets during sunset.

What a surprise this hotel was. Such a gem in Maibu .they give you a super cool car/ surf boards / wet suits . Staff were amazing - so friendly but not over the top so you feel like you’re staying in your own little place. Amazing attention to detail. Coifee brought to your room in the morning. Beautiful roof terrace with an amazing vibe and view. Would love to come back amd surf for a week!

When we pulled into the hotel a homeless man was going to the bathroom in the bushes right near our car. Our room and the patio of our room smelled like urine. There was lavender spray but it still smelled bad. That was disappointing. The staff and the food was good.

The location by the beach is great. We had a downstairs room with no view of the beach and in hindsight should have forked out additional for room with view. Some of the staff were very disinterested😕. There is no coffee making facilities in the room and they forgot to deliver our complimentary morning coffee which wasnt a biggie - nor did it seem to be for them. We found the food average with about an hours wait between courses. If we stayed again we would flag the onsite food and dine at the pier restaurant across the road. The food there was excellent. Overall a pretty avg stay in what could be a much better hotel experience.

Very clean old school beach house vibe. Recently updated and is fresh and friendly. Staff are great and the top floor deck has great views of the ocean and good food and nice beverage options. Rooms are queen beds and a bit small but we knew that and chose to still try it. So not a knock on them just how it is built. Only negative really is that it is right on HW 1 and that was much louder than we anticipated. We chose ocean front so knew we would be looking at ocean AND the HW. But that road is non stop and is about 50 MPH and it is loud. On top deck not so noticeable as you are above it. But at room level, even 2nd floor, it is loud. The sliding doors to deck are heavy and do muffle it when closed. But that was a bit of a wear and tear on us. We stayed 2 nights and loved the roof top and it is just a easy walk across the street to ocean and Malibu peer. So if you are out and about it is great for all of that (and the Market is a short walk as well with all kinds of shops and food). Again, well kept, clean, great staff, and good location. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Second time staying here and it doesn’t disappoint. Great location and vibes. Beds are super comfortable and the rooftop deck is amazing. Could stay up there all day. Great staff from the front desk to the bartenders and housekeepers. Will be back
