It’s a nice place to stay if your mostly going to be out and about. The place is quiet and easy to come in and out of. I was a little hesitant when I read the reviews before because a lot of them said that the area is not so nice but honestly if you’re used to being in Hispanic type neighborhoods you’ll be fine if you’re not then I wouldn’t recommend it for you. I was there for a convention at the crypto Arena and it was honestly so convenient. Took us like nine minutes to get there. Enjoyed my stay very much.

The overall place was cute. However the area was unsafe, it’s a few blocks from macarthur park. The staff has a response time of multiple days. My trip has ended 9 days ago and I haven’t recieved my security deposit back yet and they have not replied to my messages. They messaged me when i booked my trip and then did not message me again when I had questions for them until the day of my stay. Very poor communication. Alongside that, there’s a clear spider infestation and it’s not very cleanly.

While it’s cool that there is no front desk, it causes more issues than it does good. I tried to get ahold of the property and got no response. The place itself was very old and creaky, but it gets the job done. I walked in around 4 to get to my room and someone was still in there cleaning until 4:15-4:20ish. The neighborhood it is in is very sketchy. I only stayed for one night so it was good for what I needed, but I don’t know if I would go back.

Located in a very funky neighborhood. Felt safe inside, not sure about outside. Great for a strong, young man or couple but would find somewhere else if I brought the family. Walls are very thin. Bring earmuffs.

scam! do not stay here. the property does not have an in-person check-in. i did not receive my check-in instructions, i called their number and no one answered. i left a voicemail and they did not get back to me until 2 hours later. i ended up booking another hotel by then. what’s worse: i requested a refund and they denied it! avoid this place!

The price was great, parking felt very secure and the building had some charm to it. Only docking a star because I was a same-day booking, and there was some delay in communication with my room number and setting all the door codes properly. If I could offer the proprietors some advice, getting an overseas phone answering service with the power to change the lock codes would make same-day bookings smoother. Everything else was quite good for the price.

This hotel was deceptive. The environment about the neighborhood was disclosed after I booked a non refundable room. The area was terrible and hotel staff stated that there was a parking lot nearby where I can park. There was no lots within walking distance of the hotel and it is in a high crime area. Again this was disclosed after booking. I emailed them after I read the Thank you for Booking with us email and they did not respond to my email. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the Burlington Hotel, especially for the price I paid. I wasn't sure what to expect at first because of some of the reviews, but my experience turned out to be much better than I anticipated. I have family in LA & traveled with friends but wanted my own space. To me, it's more like staying at an Airbnb than a traditional hotel. Before checking in, I purchased my own comforter, pillows, towels, and a few other essentials to make my stay more comfortable. The room was exactly what I needed—clean shower, comfortable bed and well-maintained. The hotel provided fresh white linens. I didn't need assistance from the staff during my stay. No, it's definitely not a Marriott or Hilton, which is what I usually book. However, it's not a bad place at all. It's actually a relaxed, laid-back spot and gave me the opportunity to try something outside of my normal routine. I appreciated experiencing something a little different. Most importantly, READ all of the check-in instructions carefully - SAVE the entry codes! No TV, as clearly stated. Walls were a little thin, but wasn’t an issue for me. It was quiet at night, and I slept well. I'm from New Orleans and travel frequently, both across the U.S. and internationally, so the neighborhood didn't bother me. Yes you do have to drive through an alley to reach the parking area, but I had no issues entering or leaving. I paid $10 per day for parking, convenient & well worth it.

We arrived later in the evening. We could not spot the hotel as there is now a fence in front and could not read the address. The parking lot isn't easily accessible since it's located through a one way alley. Guests were loud and the guest above us had pets that scratched the floor as they walked or got excited. There is no TV in the room and we could not turn on the air conditioner in the room. The area the hotel is located is ok during the day but not as much at night.

PHOTOS PROVIDED* Let me begin by saying how our entire experience was a disaster, from booking to the day of check out. I’d like to say that I’m a very understanding traveller, I understand that hotels also have other duties hence why I’m very accomodating. But sometimes you also have to recognize when properties simply do not CARE, and just want money. I also understand that this is a 3 star property, similar to hotels like holiday inn. Booking: I booked through Expedia. It was my partner and I’s first time travelling and the photos looked bright and clean, hence why we decided to book. We initially booked for one day only, but due to other hotel plans being cancelled, we booked another day. In total, we have two separate bookings. I made a request to join the two separate bookings so we could stay in the same room, and I understand if such requests cannot be granted, but my issue here is the lack of COMMUNICATION. For almost TWO WEEKS of trying to reach them, there was absolutely NO response on their end. I messaged them on Expedia, I called their phone number, tried calling maintencance, left multiple voicemails, and even reached out to expedia customer service where they also tried calling different numbers. 建物と部屋は良くリノベーションされていて、清潔で部屋は広く快適だった。近隣のメトロ駅（West Lake）からは徒歩15分程で、アクセスも良いと思う。近くに大きなスーパーもあって、良いロケーションだった。また、この駅周辺のホームレスやゴミが多く落ちている環境の悪さは、足早に通り過ぎることで、さほど気にならなかった。しかし、スタッフの対応が遅すぎる。ロサンゼルス空港に着いてメッセージを読み、すぐにデポジットを支払い現地に行くが、1時間以上経っても入口の鍵番号を知らせてくれず、建物に入れなかった。メールしても返事がなく、電話してようやく入口と部屋の鍵番号を知らせてきた。2時間近くも時間を無駄にして、余計な電話代もかかった。さらに、デポジットの支払金がチェックアウトから1週間以上経って返金され、為替差損が生じた。安くない部屋代なのに、このように余計な費用が発生した。このホテルは日本人には勧められない。
