I had a great experience at my stay here. The room was clean and actually cozy. The bathroom was clean and stocked as well. It was a very quiet environment too. The host, Yaffa was kind and attentive with all my needs. The breakfast was the best part of the stay. Full hearty foods with a variety from day to day. This was my first time trying an actual BnB and it's made me want to consider it again on my next travels.

Excellent and personal service!

It was an excellent stay. The service was very personal, kind and accommodation. It’s a nice quiet neighborhood but close to many services and shopping. I felt very much at home here and would definitely stay there again.

6 nights in the Valley

We had a very nice 6-day stay here. Great hosts, great hospitality. Wish we took a picture of our breakfasts--very tasty and healthy. Plenty of places to sit outside, which was nice in the morning, but the Valley does get very hot at night in the summer. Thought there would be more road noise from Oxnard, but wasn't bad. AC runs in afternoon to mid-evening; we were able to open windows after that. Bed was fairly firm, but comfortable. Some snacks in the room and water in the fridge--thanks. Parking was in their driveway and a really safe neighborhood pretty central to what we needed to do at BUR, UCLA, Valley Village, mid-city, etc. As I said, great people hosting this and we will try to stay there again if our visit takes us to this part of LA county.

so much better than a hotel

Usually I stay in hotels for business travel. This time I decided to take the challenge to select a BnB and I am so glad I did. nice and quite area, very friendly owners with great service. Will be back for sure and recommend the place to everyone.

This property was so relaxing! The patio & garden were beautiful and drinking our coffee or eating out there was wonderful! Speaking of eating - the breakfasts were delicious & varied! Delightful, caring hosts were kind & considerate. We couldn’t have asked for better accommodations!

Great breakfast, comfortable, safe, clean place

I really enjoyed my stay. I was attending a conference less than a mile away and was able to easily walk to it. The bedroom and bath are very comfortable and clean. The breakfast is fabulous. Also my plane was delayed and I came in at 11:00pm and the owner was very kind and welcoming. Great choice, would definitely choose it again.

There were problems from the very beginning when I lost my iPhone before leaving for a 6.5 hour trip. When I arrived Owner had not received my Message that I would be arriving first noon check-in rather than 5pm as originally I had confirmed. Very first time I turned on TV a knock and Owner lady whispered "shhhhh " and asked me to turn the TV down at 10pm. I was surprised how early LA slows down. It's my every night routine to watch the news. The next morning, unplugged nightlight to use plug, and out come a big cockroach and some exoskeletons a few more. I shrieked out a scream and told Ownerlady soon after. She said they're mosquitoes. Never have I seen a mosquito in an electrical outlet. There I was for 4 long days and most of the time when I knocked asking for something like to use a phone, it was time limited or everyone was gone and severs no answers when I needed help. Last morning as she entered with a bagel and coffee, the Ownerlady asked me to check out 1 hour early because she has another quest arriving at 10am. Bad trip!!

Great service and cozy room

Cozy room with large bed and breakfast every morning. Owner is super friendly and very accommodating. The bed was a bit hard for my wife’s liking but other than that the room was good. Parking can be a bit tight, but not too bad. All in all a good bed and breakfast in a nice area.

Honeymoon Stay

We stayed here for about a week right after our wedding and Yaffa treated us so well! She was flexible with breakfast on mornings where we wanted to get out early and was a joy to talk to. This room works really well for those that need a place to recoup after a day of exploring Los Angeles!

Very nice place to stay

Ive never stayed in a BnB before so I was pleasantly surprised. The room was very nice and clean. It was furnished with everything I couldve needed plus extra. Very gracious and friendly hosts. Yaffa was a sweetheart and brought me coffee each morning (i told her I dont eat breakfast) but she still included a small something for me to eat like fresh fruit or a pastry. I would definitely return

Very nice place to stay

My wife and I stayed there from April 14-16 and had a very pleasant visit. We enjoyed talking with Yaffa and Morris and getting to know them. Yaffa asked about our preferences for breakfast and I said that we tried to eat healthy. That is exactly what she provided. Location was convenient, yet private. We felt safe there.

Wonderful

My wife and I stayed here from June 28 through July 1, 2017. Everything was grand, and quite reasonable also. Our hosts were gracious and the room was spotless. The hostess asked what we would like for breakfast. I explained that I am a vegan but my wife wanted a regular breakfast. She dutifully prepared sliced fresh vegetables plus fruit for me and so much breakfast we could not finish, at her great expense and effort.

Very nice and cosy away from hustle and bustle

A nice little BnB away from all the hustle and bustle of Hollywood to relax to after a long day sightseeing. Very friendly staff and an amazing breakfast. A short drive from Hollywood and Universal Studios. A wonderful italian restaurant down the road. Very clean and safe, highly recommended.

Nice B & B. Cozy and private.

Sunshine B & B was a great place to stay. I wanted to be away from the city and the hustle snd bustle of big hotels. This place was cozy and private and the service was friendly and inviting. I would definitely stay there again.

Super friendly

My mother and I did a two nights stay here. As it was our first experience staying in a home we felt uneasy, but by the next morning we felt at ease with how welcoming they were. They even came to the rescue when our wine bottle wouldn't open!!

I frequently stay in hotels but decided to take a chance on a B&B and I'm so glad I did. Welcoming, friendly hosts, excellent location, impeccably clean, comfortable room, and fantastic breakfast. Will definitely be back!

Great price but privacy is lacking

We really enjoyed the price as well as the location but our only complaint was we were told to not run our white noise sleeping app or have the TV on at an acceptable level as their daughter was asleep at 11pm. People travel and don't punch a clock. Was the couple nice......YES but zero privacy feeling like you must tip toe around is kind of nerve racking while on business or vacation. If your ok with this then this is the place for you, if your wanting to be you then probably not. So kind of hard to leave a review When it was a 50/50 experience

Sunshine BnB LA is definitely one of the best places I have stayed for a long time. Yaffa takes great care and is very polite and helpfull, the breakfast is SUPER. I stay in hotels very often but tried a BnB this time and I am so glad I did. great experience and I will be back.
