It's is a Romanticist castle that stands on the top of a hill in the Sintra Mountains. And undoubtedly one of the most iconic places in Portugal. And a dream come true to visit it! It is a national monument and constitutes one of the major expressions of 19th-century Romanticism in the world. The palace is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Wonders of Portugal. Most beautiful hotel we’ve ever stayed in. Our room was beautifully appointed. Rooms are named after books, the views were amazing over the sea. Beautiful clear night skies, and easy to get to and from in a hire car. The food, made lovingly by Maria Sofia, was incredible! On our first night we had a wonderful four course menu, incredibly generous and delicious. We were very well looked after, and had a lovely four day stay. Would recommend very highly. Thank you Maria Sofia and the team for a dream stay!

Top sauber, extrem ruhig, viele liebevolle Details und Einrichtungen im ganzen Hotel zu entdecken. Im Zimmer haben wir uns auch sehr wohl gefühlt und den gepflegten Garten und Pool haben wir sehr genossen. Ganz besonders war das Personal, so herzlich, persönlich und professionell. Wir kommen wieder!
