The check in was stressful and unorganized. We were to receive an email with the codes we needed for the apartment which we did not get. Could not reach anyone. Thankfully a local person helped us. 90 minutes later they found our reservation and we were finally let in The apartment was nice and centrally located. Other than the check in we enjoyed our stay.

This property has the potential to be a Hidden Gem if only the owner would maintain it properly it could use a coat of paint a good cleaning and repairs to several things in the room We saw a cockroach and several other bugs I would not recommend this place until the owner takes some pride in it

This place exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the two bedroom Appartment. It was huge and so spacious making it very comfortable for our family of 4. 2 large bathrooms and we were thankful for a tub. The location was great, a tasty Indian restaurant just a little ways up from it and a 2 min walk to the bustling historic center. We enjoyed the fresh apples every day and a sip of port at night in the common room. A wonderful place! Would definitely stay again!

Perfect accommodation in Sintra! The location is awesome, and the loft was spacious and clean with lots of natural light. The LovelyStay team communicated everything we needed to know for our stay through WhatsApp, and made contactless check-in so easy. We arrived to Sintra earlier than our check-in time and used the safe and secure luggage storage area on the property. Overall I’m super impressed and happy with our stay at this property!

Great loft experience. Plenty of space and a lovely kitchenette. In the heart of old Sintra and it is really nice to stay a night versus taking the bus as you can see the crowds trying to navigate their way around. Be cognizant of ubers etc, cars are limited jn the area so you need to walk a block or so in. Not far at all

This seems a residential rental, not a hotel. We arrived late and they said OK, but it was from another office's response. When arriving 8pm, door was closed and nobody in service. Call another line, took a long time to find my reservation. They don't have frontdesk, everything online, everything self serviced, but they did not email clearly upfront. Avoid this hotel for the trouble

Great place except for the power outage

The hotel has great location. It is 1-2 minute walk from the palace of sintra. The beds, sheets and towels were very fine. Decor was beautiful considering it was retrofitted from a very old building. However there were several issues during our stay. Communication regarding how to locate the place was confusing. It would have been better if they told you to start at palace of sintra and walk 1-2 minutes down the hill towards the only Tandoori restaurant. It was just past this restaurant. The QR code to open gate to city centre did not work. I felt bad for our uber driver. The power went out at 10pm, on a very cold night. They could not restore electricity (there is no one at property). They did offer to relocate us. However we would have had to repack everything, wake up the children and locate another property in the dark. Due to the power outage the fire alarm in our room kept blinking and I was unable to sleep. I wish they had staff at the property. They are quick to respond to messages. Overall it was a bad stay mainly due to the power outage (the properties surrounding had power). I am not sure if the they can mitigate this due to the age of this village and property or with a backup generator.

Very good location, albeit that there's a short uphill walk to get to the main square - that seems to be the case for everywhere in Sintra! The apartment itself was very comfortable with a big bed, air-conditioning and lovely views. It was clean and the bathroom was a decent size. The kitchen area was adequate for my purposes but could probably do with updating. I stayed in the loft room and am short, so it wasn't an issue for me but taller guests may find the low beams problematic.

Tout était parfait. Nous avons fait plusieurs attractions touristiques à la marche. C’est un coin tranquille et nous avons été capable de trouver un stationnement dans la rue arrière. Le seul hic: lorsque le voisin du haut marché d’un pas lourd, c’est très écho. Mais il s’agit d’un loft vraiment confortable et impeccable.

The only thing about the studio I had it’s in the second floor no mentioning about that. I am a 65 years old and I have injured in my foot. It take me a long time to take my luggage to the second floor. To send message to the hotel, they reply to you after 48 hours

The street was closed off to our uber driver so we had to walk 400m with our heavy luggage, which was really tough and inconvenient. Additionally, the plumbing was problematic and made the whole apartment smell really badly of feces. Even when someone came to fix the shower, the place still smelled and their only solution was to use air fresheners.

とても綺麗な部屋で、落ち着けました。 ただ、窓枠が古く、一度開けた窓が閉められませんでした。治安の問題はないのでしょうが、少々不安な一夜を過ごしました。 その問題のやり取りも含め、管理業者の対応には不満です。問題が共有されておらず何度も不具合の写真を送れ、と要求してきたり、何もなかったかのように「楽しんでますか？」とのんきなメッセージを送ってきたり。 入室のインストラクションが不明瞭で、我々を含めて3組のゲストが「入室方法が分からない」と悩みました。わずか1時間のうちに3組続けて、です。 場所と建物は最高なので、ちょっと残念です。
